    摘要: A filter device includes a tubular casing [10] with a closed bottom, a filter element [20] received within the casing [10], a lid [30] which closes an open end of the casing [10], and has a communication hole communicating the inside and outside of the casing [10] with each other, and a fastening member [50] fastening the casing [10] and the lid [30] together. A gap is formed between a peripheral wall [14] of the open end portion of the casing [10] and a peripheral surface [32] of that portion of the lid opposed to the peripheral wall [14]. A radial seal width w of an annular elastic seal member [18] to be mounted in the gap is larger than a width d of the gap in the radial direction, and the seal member [18] closes the gap liquid-tight in the radial direction, and the seal member [18] closes the gap liquid-tight in the radial direction when the filter device is assembled. With the filter device, a positive seal therebetween can be achieved, even if a casing and a lid are fastened together somewhat inadequately.

    摘要: A method of producing a spiral wound gasket for sealing fluid such as a liquid including water and oil, and a gaseous body including vapor and gas and a device for producing the spiral wound gasket. The tip portion of a hoop material is cut and raised thereby forming a checking stepped-portion. The checking stepped-portion is caught by a checking pawl, so as to wind the hoop material around a core drum. After winding the hoop material around the outer periphery of the core drum, at least once, the checking pawl is retracted from the outer periphery of the core drum, thereby separating the checking pawl from the checking stepped-portion. The spiral wound gasket produced by the present invention exhibits an excellent sealing property. Moreover, it also has an excellent durability.

    摘要: A blank for magnetic hard disk and a method for producing the same are provided, characterized in that the attachment or adhesion of a blank of a disk shape to each other can be prevented when such blank is stacked together for disk annealing, thereby improving the productivity of magnetic hard disk, and that the damage of blank surface can be prevented during blanking. Firstly, an aluminium alloy plate is subjected to continuous surface washing process with an etching solution while winding off the aluminium alloy plate in a coil, whereby the oxide film on the surface of the aluminium alloy plate is removed to concurrently deposit insoluble smut on the surface. Then, the aluminium alloy plate after the washing process is pressed for blanking thereof into a blank of a disk shape.

    摘要: Disclouse is an olefin thermoplastic elastomer foamed product obtained by heating a foamable composition comprising a partially crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer composition (A), a specific olefin plastic (B) and a foaming agent (C) in specific proportions. The partially crosslinked thermoplastic elastomer (A) is obtained by dynamically heat-treating a mixture in the presence of organic peroxide, said mixture comprising specific proportions of a peroxide-crosslinkable copolymer rubber (a), which is a specific ethylene/.alpha.-olefin/nonconjugated diene copolymer rubber, and a peroxide-decomposable olefin plastic (b), which is a (co)polymer containing 50 to 100% by mol of an .alpha.-olefin of 3 to 20 carbon atoms and has a specific MFR. The olefin plastic (B) is a (co)polymer containing 50 to 100% by mol of an .alpha.-olefin of 2 to 20 carbon atoms and has a specific MFR. Also disclosed is a process for preparing the olefin thermoplastic elastomer foamed product. The foamed product of the invention is free from surface roughening caused by defoaming even when an expansion ratio is 2 or more times. Besides, the foamed product is soft to the touch and shows excellent heat resistance and weathering resistance. According to the process of the invention, the foamed product can be prepared through simplified steps with high productivity.

    摘要: A vortex gasket for automotive exhaust system, preferably used with a special flange having a conical seal surface, is formed by spirally overlaying a metal hoop (2) of flat strip, and an inorganic filler (3) of tape form, and annularly spot welding a winding start portion (2a) and a winding end portion (2b) of the hoop (2) to itself. The tape form of the inorganic filler is wider than the flat strip of the metal hoop so that edges of the inorganic filler form seal contact surfaces spaced beyond edges of the metal hoop. When an external force is applied in the axial direction, slipping occurs between the hoop (2) and the filler (3), and the gasket is telescopically deformed in the axial direction, so that the seal contact surfaces 1a, 1b, at sides of the gasket, are formed in a conical shape.
