    摘要: The apparatus comprises a first working unit for unwinding a coil of conductor and providing straightened conductor, and a second working unit comprising a bending device arranged to bend the straightened conductor leaving the first working unit and a rotary table on which the bent conductor leaving the bending device is laid, whereby a set of turns is formed to make the superconductive coil. The rotary table is rotatably mounted about a stationary vertical axis. The bending device is mounted so as to be translatable both in a longitudinal direction coinciding with the direction of a longitudinal axis of the straightened conductor that is fed by the first working unit to the bending device and in a transverse direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. The first working unit is mounted so as to be translatable, along with the bending device, in the transverse direction only.

    摘要: A heat exchanger, illustratively utilized in a fuel-fired pool heater, circumscribes a burner operative to discharge hot combustion gases outwardly through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger has a tube portion helically coiled about an axis, with a series of heat transfer fins circumscribing the tube portion and spaced apart along it length. The fins on longitudinally adjacent pairs of coils of the tubing have nested facing edge portions which collectively form a seal area that coils between the tubing portion adjacent coil pairs in axially spaced relationships therewith, the seal area substantially impeding combustion gas flow therethrough in a direction generally transverse to the axis of the heat exchanger. Additionally, the fins have deformed laterally outer portions that define a coiled, circumferentially spaced series of restricted combustion gas outlets in substantial axial alignment with the helically coiled tube portion.
