    摘要: A system and method for syntax abstraction in query language generation in an online analytical processing system, a business intelligence system, a reporting system, or a data mining system. The system generates one or more query language statements that can be run against one or more data sources to return a desired data result set. The system includes a syntax pattern selector module and a statement assembly module. The syntax pattern selector module selects a syntax pattern corresponding to a desired function and a syntax standard. The statement assembly module populates the syntax pattern with an argument data set associated with the desired data set. The result is the generation of one or more query language statements with the correct function, syntax, and data parameters to return the desired data result set from the data sources. A method and medium having processor readable code therein are also described.

    摘要: A method of optimizing downlink communications between a base station and mobile stations in a wireless communication system involves: identifying users that have a modulation control scheme (MCS) power value greater than a reference power value as high power users; for each of the high power users, calculating a power difference being a difference between a geometry value associated with each of the high power users and a reference geometry value associated with the reference power value respectively; summing the power differences in a power pool; identifying users that have an MCS power value below the reference power value as low power users; associating increased geometry values with at least some of the low power users while depleting the power pool by corresponding amounts until the power pool is depleted; and determining new MCSs for at least some of the low power users based on the increased geometry values.

    摘要: A middle layer network protocol enhancement, virtual connectivity (VC) makes the network attachment point changes of local and remote peers transparent to applications that use network services. A virtual connectivity module local to each peer translates communication connection parameters from apparent to real and vice versa, as well as sending and receiving secure connection updates directly to and from peers. Unlike Mobile IP, no routing infrastructure modifications are required. A subscribe-notify service provides connection update notifications when direct peer-to-peer connection updates are not possible, for example, when two communicating peers move simultaneously or when the moving peer is communicating with a peer behind network address translation (NAT). Methods for detecting these conditions are disclosed, as is a virtual connectivity protocol and virtual connectivity module architecture.
