Provided is a timer-based resource requesting method in a mobile telecommunication system. The resource requesting method includes the steps of: a) waiting in a waiting mode for an event to occur while a timer of a terminal operates; b) transmitting scheduling information including information on a quantity of packets existing in a terminal buffer to a base station when operation of the timer ends at a predetermined threshold time; and c) initializing the timer.

The present invention provides a method for resource allocation in a wireless communication system. In the method for resource allocation, a scheduler of a base station decides on a modulation scheme and an encoding scheme according to channel quality information (CQI), and decides on a number of allocated resource blocks according to transmission data size referring to a table of resource block allocation. The table of resource block allocation presents a number of allocated resource blocks and a number of transmission bits according to the number of allocated resource blocks.

The present invention relates to a resource allocation device for minimizing delay of an uplink retransmission resource allocation process in a wireless communication system having a high data rate, and a method thereof. In the method, user data are received and an ACK/NACK state of the received data is determined, and when the NACK state of the received data is determined, retransmission resource allocation is requested, retransmission resources are allocated, and retransmission resource allocation information is generated to be transmitted.

The embodiments relate to a wireless communication system that counts UEs using an MBMS. The wireless communication system is connected with a UE through a radio link, and includes a Node B and a controlling radio network controller (CRNC). The Node B receives sequence setting information on a sequence included in a preamble transmitted from the UE network manager. The CRNC controls the Node B, detects a sequence according to whether to use an MBMS based on the sequence setting information, and performs a counting process for counting UEs based on whether the UE uses the MBMS.According to the embodiments, counting of UEs using an MBMS can be performed by using a predetermined sequence. Particularly, the counting process can be simplified by reducing complexity in access probability management of a network manager, thereby increasing efficiency in data transmission by reducing signaling for random access probability and omitting a random access probability calculation process.
