    摘要: A main controller for controlling an emergency informing terminal, and a sub controller for controlling communications with an external device are provided. The main controller and sub controller have microcomputers, and the main controller and sub controller monitor the operation of each other. The power source device of this emergency informing terminal has a function of cutting off power supply to the emergency informing terminal when overheat or overcurrent occurs in the auxiliary battery which operate when supply from the main battery is interrupted, and if overheat or voltage drop occurs due to short circuit of the auxiliary battery or other trouble, power supply into the emergency informing terminal is cut off, so that spread of damage may be avoided.

    摘要: A short-arc high pressure discharge lamp with a shorter distance between electrodes than a conventional lamp that realizes a long life of at least 3000 hours and suppresses the arc jump phenomenon is disclosed. In the high pressure discharge lamp, an electrode tip 124 is transformed into a semi-sphere by fusing and processing an electrode rod 122 and a coil 123 wound around an end of the electrode rod 122. A thickness “de” and a diameter “&phgr;e” of the semi-sphere are each set in a range predetermined in correspondence with a power input (W) of the short-arc high pressure discharge lamp.

    摘要: A hoisting apparatus is provided to facilitate maintenance of a load such as luminaires used at high elevations under safe working conditions. The apparatus comprises at least one cable, a load holder for holding the load, a base secured to a ceiling of a structure, and coupled to the load holder through the cable, and a drive unit for moving the load holder up and down by use of the cable between a top position where the load holder is located adjacent to the base, and a bottom position where the load holder is spaced from the base. The load holder has cable-length adjust unit for adjusting a length of the cable to stop the load holder at a desired position between the top and bottom positions.

When a device receives a system synchronizing signal form another device, the device sets an initial value in a counter.
