A fabric comprises conductive yarns inserted each in a warp direction and a weft direction and disposed in a lattice at intervals, wherein at least either one of the conductive yarns in the warp direction or the weft direction is inserted as a double weave to be a float yarn on the surface that the conductive yarn becomes a float yarn in the double weave, wherein a ratio of the conductive yarn inserted as the double weave not covered by an orthogonal nonconductive yarn but exposed is not less than 50% in arithmetic average, and a ratio of the conductive yarns in the warp direction and the weft direction intersect and contact each other is not less than 40% in arithmetic average. Clothes comprise the fabric, wherein the conductive yarn is inserted as the double weave in an obverse side of the clothes.

Electrostatic dissipating fabrics incorporating spun yarns which include conductive staple fiber constituents incorporated within the spun yarns, and a grid of electrically conductive filament yarns. The fabrics may be of either a woven or knit construction. The conductive fiber constituents are dispersed at an effective concentration to establish a network of charge carrying junctions within and between the individual yarns and between the conductive filament yarns. The large number of junctions between the yarns facilitates the dissipation of static electricity between regions of a garment formed by the yarns. In particular, the fabric retains a high degree of conductivity across seams within the garment even after multiple washings.

Garment, in particular for a human body, includes several sections connected together and are each made of one or more plies. For one ply in each case, such a fabric is usable for the sections that the, in particular, human body is shielded from electromagnetic radiation thereby. This at least one ply is advantageously knitted or woven from a fabric made of metal-coated threads, filaments and/or yarns for shielding the electromagnetic radiation. In this way, the human body is shielded from the electromagnetic fields that occur increasingly frequently and with greater intensity, in particular in the high-frequency range.

An elastomeric article, specifically an unsupported glove with two layers where the outer layer has ESD properties and its method of manufacturing is described here. The outer layer is especially formulated with a combination of fillers to reduce the surface resistance and volume resistance and helps to dissipate static charge which builds up as a result of triboelectric action. The wearer of this glove will not get any shock due to static charge which is experienced when wearing a conventional nitrile glove specially in applications such as spray painting
摘要:
The present invention is directed to antistatic elastomeric articles and methods of making the same. The articles can be single layered or multilayered. The single layered articles possess desirable antistatic properties and desirable properties of comfort and feel. The multilayered articles have an outermost layer/surface that possesses desirable antistatic properties and an innermost layer/surface that exhibits desirable properties of comfort and feel. In preferred embodiments, the elastomeric articles are made form a nitrile/natural rubber blend. Articles of the present invention have antistatic properties measured as having a surface resistivity below about 1014 Ω/sq and a static decay time of less than about 60 seconds.

The present invention provides a liquid impervious and pathogen impervious laminate comprising a breathable layer comprising an antistatic agent and a fibrous layer on the breathable layer. Preferably, the fibrous layer includes a thermally activated adhesive material that is used to bond the fibrous layer and the breathable layer together.

Provided is a garment that has an antistatic capability and exhibits washing durability without, when producing a woven or knitted fabric, using a conductive fiber at a part that becomes a wearing part of the woven or knitted fabric, and without applying an antistatic treatment to the woven or knitted fabric, but rather by incorporating a conductive fiber into a sewing thread. The garment according to the present invention has a conductive fiber incorporated in a sewing thread (linking thread), and has a frictional charge amount of 0.8 μC or less per garment. The garment preferably has an electric resistance value of 1×104Ω-5×108Ω per 1 cm length of the conductive fiber in a fiber axis direction thereof, and the sewing thread preferably includes the conductive fiber in an amount of 30-100 mass %.

A wearable power generation device, wearable clothes capable of generating power, and a power generation method are provided. The wearable power generation device includes at least one magnet unit, at least one electromagnetic induction unit, and at least an energy storage unit electrically connected to the at least one electromagnetic induction unit. The magnet unit and the electromagnetic induction unit are respectively disposed to be worn on different parts of an animal body. During movement of the animal body, the magnetic flux passing through the electromagnetic induction unit is changed to generate an induction current by changing the relative position of the magnet unit and the electromagnetic unit. The energy storage unit is configured to convert the induction current generated by the electromagnetic induction unit into electric energy for storage.
