摘要:
A flexible, wrappable multilayered heat shield is provided. The heat shield includes a reflective metal outermost layer, an innermost layer of high temperature yarn capable of withstanding temperatures up to about 650 degrees° C. continuously, and about 750° C. intermittently, and an intermediate layer of nonwoven material capable of withstanding temperatures up to about 550° C. continuously sandwiched between the outermost and innermost layers.
摘要:
An anti-vandalism fabric having at least one thread intertwined with itself forming a mesh, the thread in turn being formed by a bundle of between 3 and 14 filaments or a combination of filaments and yarns not plaited with one another, of which at least 3 are metal filaments, the metal filaments of the bundle having a diameter between 0.05 mm and 0.09 mm. The fabric can include more than one mesh. In one variant the mesh or meshes are embedded in a panel of non woven fabric.
摘要:
A fabric for protecting a wearer thereof from an energy weapon. The fabric is made of a plurality of coupled strands. Each strand is made from staple fibers. At least 30% of the staple fibers are an electrically conductive material for conducting electric current from an energy weapon that contacts or is adjacent to the fabric.
摘要:
Fabrics made for apparel, tents, sleeping bags and the like, in various composites, constructed such that there is at least one metal layer, forming a radiant barrier to reduce heat loss via radiation from the human body, and insulating this metal layer from heat loss via conduction, and a process for its manufacture.
摘要:
A speaker having a diaphragm made of a woven/knitted fabric containing a conductive fiber and a non-conductive fiber, where the fabric has a woven structure or a knitted structure of the non-conductive fiber, and a continuous wiring forming a coil of the conductive fiber.
摘要:
An internal lining of several layers having anti-microbial effect is described for an item of equipment suitable for at least temporarily covering body parts; in particular, the layers include at least one layer made from a woven fabric and/or knitted and/or non-woven fabric with an anti-microbial effect wherein the fabric contains a metal, which metal is integrated in a filament, a fiber and/or a spunbonded fiber or spunbonded yarn; and at least one other layer of a semi-permeable membrane made from polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), and/or a polymeric laminate. The method of production of the multiple layered internal lining with an antimicrobial effect is also disclosed.
摘要:
A textile material is provided, the appearance of which can be changed by stretching a whole or a part of the material in one or more pre-determined directions. The textile material is formed using a base fabric onto which one or more coating layers (e.g. metallic coating) are applied. The coated fabric is then stretched in a substantially transverse direction to the fabric and then in a substantially longitudinal direction to the fabric.
摘要:
An improved knit fabric system for protecting against electrical arch hazards and promoting garment visibility is provided. The inventive knit fabric is either a solid fabric substrate or of a mesh construction that absorbs the thermal energy of an electric arc and, especially for the mesh construction, absorbs thermal energy or heat flux to prevent garment combustion. The solid or mesh version of the inventive knit fabric incorporates conductive fibers for draining away and thereby dissipating accumulated electrical charges. Such conductive fibers are incorporated into the fabric of the invention, by either being knitted into the fabric as it is formed or by the process of yarn spinning.
摘要:
A method for forming a metallic fabric includes forming a composite yarn having a metallic wire core, and a cover yarn including a fluid-soluble strand such as co-nylon or polylactic acid. The composite yarn can be knitted into an intermediate fabric product. The soluble element is dissolved to leave a use fabric suitable for other processing, such as coating with materials such as latex. The non-fluid-soluble strand may be either a single strand or multi-filaments of steel wire.
摘要:
A burner membrane comprising a textile fabric. The textile fabric comprising at least 60% by weight of machined metal fiber bundles, having a bundle voluminousity in the range of 1 to 15% and a torsion rate in the range of 10 to 80 turns/m.
