摘要: A portable cellular phone comprising a case body and a sliding cover is disclosed. The case body includes an operating section and stopper portions. The sliding cover covers the operating section of said case body and is slidably supported on said case body. The stopper portions of the case body restrict a sliding range of said sliding cover. The sliding cover is mounted and detached with respect to said case body by applying an outer force to the sliding cover in a direction perpendicular to a sliding direction when the sliding cover is positioned at a specific position within the sliding range. When the sliding cover is mounted, one of locking portions of the sliding cover is engaged with one of locking portions of the case body, and the other locking portion of the sliding cover is aligned in position on the other locking portion of the case body. The sliding cover is fit to the case body by applying an outer force.

摘要: In a continuous casting of a molten aluminum bearing alloy, a casting space is defined between substantially parallel opposed portions of a pair of traveling endless belts and the molten aluminum bearing alloy is supplied into the casting space to be continuously cast into the shape of a plate. A cooling rate AT during solidification of the aluminum bearing alloy is controlled so that the cooling rate &Dgr;T ranges between 3 and 6° C./sec. where &Dgr;T=(T−500) /t, T is a temperature when the casting of the aluminum bearing alloy starts, and t is a cooling time in sec. between start of casting and the time when the temperature of the aluminum bearing alloy decreases to 500° C.

摘要: A method of making an aluminum alloy plate for bearing which is made by cladding a bonding layer comprising a pure aluminum or an aluminum alloy excluding Sn onto a bearing alloy layer comprising an aluminum alloy containing Sn. The method includes the steps of fitting a concave portion of a first roll in a convex portion of a second roll, the first roll having both axial ends with large diameter portions respectively, the second roll having both axial ends with small diameter portions respectively, and passing superposed plates formed into the bearing alloy layer and the bonding layer respectively through a roll gap defined between the concave and convex portions and closed by the large diameter portions of the first roll so that the plates are rolled down at a reduction ratio not less than 50% while both widthwise ends of each plate is restricted by the large diameter portions of the first roll respectively such that the bonding layer is cladded onto the bearing alloy layer.

摘要: A swivel assembly of a vehicle seat including a ring-shaped upper plate fixed to a seat side member of a vehicle; a ring-shaped lower plate fixed to a floor side member of the vehicle; and a set plate holding the upper plate between it and the lower plate. One ball is provided between the upper plate and the lower plate. The other ball is provided between the upper plate and the set plate. The other ball is in contact with both inner surfaces of each of one sectionally V-shaped guide groove and the other sectionally V-shaped guide groove confronting the one groove. The upper plate can be held at a predetermined position without being loosened vertically and horizontally even though the upper plate, the lower plate, and the set plate have errors occurred in manufacture.

摘要: An ultraviolet and infrared absorbing glass plate includes a transparent glass substrate, a first layer formed on a first major surface of the glass substrate and a second layer formed on the first layer. The first layer is an ultraviolet and infrared absorbing film prepared by hardening a primer coating solution. The primer coating solution contains a synthetic resin, a fluorescent brightening agent, an ultraviolet absorbing agent and an infrared absorbing agent. The second layer is a film of a siloxane polymer. The glass plate has an optional water-repellent layer formed on a second major surface of the glass substrate. Long-wavelength ultraviolet rays until the upper limit of its wavelength can be substantially cut by the first layer on the glass substrate. Furthermore, the first layer is superior in infrared absorption, adhesion to the glass substrate, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance and durability.

摘要: A bearing material is produced by forming a Cu-Pb-system or Pb-bronze-system bearing alloy layer on a steel plate optionally plated with Cu, and forming a Pb alloy overlay containing Zn on the bearing alloy layer so as to enhance corrosion resistance and conformability of the bearing alloy layer. A Cu-Zn alloy layer of 0.5 to 10 .mu.m is present between the Cu matrix of the bearing alloy layer and the overlay. The Cu-Zn alloy layer prevents Sn and In in the overlay from diffusing into the Cu matrix of the bearing alloy layer. The multi-layered slide bearing material can be manufactured by forming the bearing alloy lining layer on the steel plate optionally plated with Cu so as to obtain a bimetal plate, rolling the bimetal plate and a lead alloy plate for the overlay containing Zn to bond the plates in accumulative reduction of 8 to 48%, and thereafter subjecting the plates to heat treatment at 170.degree. to 250.degree. C.
