摘要: Provided is a sliding member and a bearing using the sliding member. The sliding member contains a metallic substrate, a porous layer formed on a surface of the metallic substrate, and a sliding layer covered on the porous layer. The sliding layer is made of a lead-free resin composition. The lead-free resin composition includes a pitch-based carbon fiber, a fluorocarbon resin, and any of or a combination of two or more of aramid fiber, iron oxide, molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and zinc, zinc alloy, or zinc compound. 0.5 weight % or more and 17 weight % or less of a pitch-based carbon fiber is included. A total addition amount of additives excluding the fluorocarbon resin is 25 volume % or less.

摘要: The invention relates to a sliding bearing element (1) with a running layer (4) made from a first tin-based alloy and an additional layer (5) made from an additional tin-based alloy, said alloys containing at least one element from a group comprising Cu, Ni, Ag, Sb, As, Pb, Bi, Te, Tl and/or non-metal particles. The first tin-based alloy has a strength index FI of at least 5 and at most 25, and the additional tin-based alloy has a strength index FI of at least 0.3 and at most 3. The strength index of the running layer (4) is at least five times the strength index of the additional layer (5), and the strength index FI is defined by the equation, FI = 100 * ω C + 50 * ω S + 2 * ( 100 * ω B ) 2 , in which C represents at least one of the elements Cu, Ni, Ag; S represents Sb and/or non-metal particles; B represents at least one of the elements Pb, Bi, Te, Tl; and ω represents the total content of each of the tin-based alloy components assigned to the letters C, S, and B.

摘要: A bearing lining has a bearing backing layer provided with a coating comprising a first overlay layer and a second overlay layer, the first overlay layer being provided between the bearing backing layer and the second overlay layer. The first and second overlay layers each comprise a matrix material and a soft-phase material that is substantially insoluble in the matrix and dispersed within the matrix as soft-phase particles. The first overlay layer comprises a higher proportion by weight of a grain size reduction additive than the second overlay layer.

摘要: Provided is a sliding member which has high seizure resistance though an overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component is used therein. The sliding member of an embodiment comprises a base and an overlay layer which is disposed on the sliding-side surface of the base and which comprises Ag as the main component and contains Al. The overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component is relatively soft. Due to this, the overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component can ensure high seizure resistance even when the use of Pb is avoided. Furthermore, the overlay layer comprising Ag as the main component has excellent thermal conductivity. Due to this, frictional heat generating at the sliding part rapidly dissipates to the base side.

摘要: In this sliding bearing, which is provided with a resin coating layer at the surface of a bearing alloy layer layered at a back metal layer, a PAI that degrades with difficulty at high temperatures is used as the main component as the resin binder of the resin coating layer, adjustment particles are included in the resin binder, and as a result, the compressive strength of the resin coating layer is increased, and indentations of the resin coating layer resulting from a shaft are prevented. Meanwhile, a plate solid lubricant is included in the resin binder, and thus sliding characteristics are improved. Also, delamination due to cracks is prevented by the effect of adjusting the orientation of the solid lubricant and the damming effect of the adjustment particles, and thus superior anti-seizure property is provided even in an engine that frequently repeats starting and stopping.
