Abstract: A method includes generating a preamble for a protocol version of a wireless local area network, where the preamble includes a legacy signal L-SIG field and a high efficiency signal HE-SIG field that are arranged in order, the HE-SIG field includes a first orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM symbol and a second OFDM symbol that are arranged in order, and an input information bit of the first OFDM symbol is the same as that of the second OFDM symbol, and sending the preamble to a receive end device, so that the receive end device restores the preamble, and when determining that input information bits obtained after restoring the first OFDM symbol and the second OFDM symbol are the same, determines that the preamble is the preamble of the protocol version.

Abstract: Embodiments of this application disclose a data receiving method, a data sending method, a data transmission method, and a related apparatus and system. The method includes: sending, by a network device in each transmission subwindow corresponding to a broadcast signal, the broadcast signal to user equipment by using a different antenna port, where the transmission subwindow is obtained by dividing, based on preset subwindow information, a transmission window corresponding to the broadcast signal; and determining, by the UE, a transmission subwindow in which a downlink transmit beam is located; and receiving the broadcast signal in a time in which the transmission subwindow is located, where the time in which the transmission subwindow is located is calculated based on the pre-obtained subwindow information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a sequence signal sending method, to receive control information from a network-side device, to clarify a channel resource used by a terminal to send a sequence signal to the network-side device. The method in the embodiments of the present disclosure includes: receiving, by a terminal, control information sent by a network-side device, where the control information includes a sequence identifier and a channel resource indication, and the channel resource indication is used to indicate a channel resource available for the terminal; determining, by the terminal, a corresponding sequence signal based on the sequence identifier; and sending, by the terminal, the sequence signal by using the channel resource. Therefore, it is ensured that the terminal obtains stable and reliable communication quality and provides satisfactory user experience, and a performance requirement of a future network is fully met.

Abstract: This application provides a communication method and device. The method includes: determining, by a first device, a first synchronization signal, where the first synchronization signal is used by a second device for symbol timing alignment and frequency synchronization; and sending, by the first device, the first synchronization signal on each group of subcarriers of M groups of subcarriers, where M is a positive integer greater than or equal to 2. According to the communication method in this application, the first device sends the first synchronization signal on each group of subcarriers of a plurality of groups of subcarriers, so that the second device can select, based on a reception capability of the second device, an appropriate bandwidth to receive the first synchronization signal. In this way, a device with wideband reception performance and a device with narrowband reception performance can be supported.

Abstract: An uplink data transmission method and apparatus are described. The uplink data transmission method includes receiving a first message including transmission mode information. The transmission mode information indicates that a terminal device is capable of transmitting uplink data by using at least two contention transmission units (CTUs) that are in a same transmission time interval (TTI). The CTU refers to a transmission resource combining: a time, a frequency, and a code domain; a transmission resource combining a time, a frequency, and a pilot; or a transmission resource combining a time, a frequency, a code domain, and a pilot. The uplink data transmitted by using the at least two CTUs is partially the same or totally the same. The method further comprises the terminal device sending a second message including indication information, where the indication information is used to enable the terminal device to determine, according to the indication information, a CTU for uplink data transmission.

Abstract: A cell handover method, apparatus, and system, where the cell handover method includes receiving, by a mobile edge computing (MEC) server, status information of a mobile terminal from a source cell, where the status information includes location information and speed information, determining, by the MEC server, a target cell based on the status information, where the MEC server serves the target cell, the target cell is neighboring to the source cell, and coverage of the target cell partially overlaps coverage of the source cell, and sending, by the MEC server, an identifier of the target cell to the mobile terminal using the source cell. According to the cell handover method, apparatus, and system provided in this application, cell handover is controlled using the MEC server to improve efficiency of the cell handover.

The second TA option indicates indirect initial GF UL data transmissions with the UE initiating TA reference signaling for updating a TA parameter of the UE.
