摘要: A rear seat for a motor vehicle is attached detachably to a ramp member which is disposed on a floor panel such that the ramp member can slide on the floor in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. Accordingly, when the rear seat needs to be removed from a vehicle compartment in order to make a large space or room for luggage or anything else, the ramp member carrying the rear seat thereon is drawn out of the vehicle. Then the rear seat can be removed to the outside using the ramp member. This makes the removal operation of the rear seat easy and can be performed without getting into the vehicle compartment and carrying the rear seat out of the vehicle compartment. Furthermore, it is also easy to load large sized luggage into the vehicle by putting it on the ramp member outside and then sliding the ramp member with the luggage into the vehicle compartment.

摘要: An air conditioner control unit performs air conditioner malfunction detection when it detects idle control malfunctions no less than three times in the engine control unit. For example, it detects whether an evaporator downstream temperature is within a second predetermined range which is computed based on a theoretical value. If such temperature is not within the second predetermined range, the air conditioner control unit determines that there is a malfunction in the air conditioner. Moreover, if it is determined that there is a malfunction in the air conditioner, the air conditioner control unit determines if such malfunction affects emissions or fuel consumption. Then, based on the result of such determination, the engine control unit executes malfunction display.

摘要: The present invention has an object to provide an image forming apparatus and method which enables an operator to easily adjust to the desired printing density. A paper feeding roller is driven in timing along with a registration roller. The irradiation of a modulated laser beam is started, a developing high-voltage is changed from "0" V to a predetermined voltage V1, and the voltage is changed to V2 at other timings. By sequentially changing the voltage in this manner, the printing densities from laser modulating data d1 to d10 are adjusted and printing in different densities can be performed.

摘要: A process is described for the perparation of radiation image storage panels. The process includes forming a phosphor sheet from stimulable phosphor and a thermoplastic elastomer binder, the binder having a softening point of 30.degree. to 300.degree. C. The phosphor sheet is then heated on a support and subsequently compressed by a calender roll under heating. The sheet during compression is maintained at or heated to a temperature not lower than the softening point of the binder so as to fix the phosphor sheet on the support.

摘要: An image intensifier apparatus of this invention comprises a photocathode for converting a first optical image to corresponding photoelectrons, a microchannel plate for multiplying the photoelectrons, impressed with a voltage at both ends thereof, and a fluorescent screen for converting the photoelectrons multiplied in the microchannel plate to a second optical image, emitting the second optical image to an image pickup device. Resistance of the microchannel plate is greater than or equal to 2.8.times.10.sup.15 G.OMEGA. and less than or equal to 2.8.times.10.sup.16 G.OMEGA. per channel. Therefore, in a case that a luminance of the second optical image is smaller than or equal to saturation sensitivity of the image pickup device, the luminance of the second optical image is proportional to an illuminance of the first optical image, and in a case that the luminance of the second optical image is larger than saturation sensitivity of the image pickup device, the luminance of the second optical image is suppressed against increment of the illuminance of the first optical image. Thus, the halo phenomenon effect having a relatively large luminance is decreased.

摘要: Problems accompanying the appearance of compressed liquid refrigerant in a compressor are solved and deterioration of vehicle performance and degeneration of a magnetic clutch (when there is no compressed liquid refrigerant in the compressor) are prevented. An ECU 7 for energizing magnetic clutch 5 determines that there is liquid refrigerant in a compressor when a reduction rate .DELTA.NE of the engine revolution number is larger than a set value when the compressor 4 is started and the magnetic clutch is de-energized for a certain period of time.
