    摘要: A cover unit for lens unit having a lens barrel, which has a cylindrical support member to be coupled to an end of the lens barrel, at least one engaging pin member is provided at a predetermined position on the outer circumferential surface thereof. Further, the cover unit has a cylindrical hood member capable of being superposed on the lens barrel, at least one cam groove to slidably receive the at-least-one engaging pin member therein being formed on the inner circumferential surface of the hood member, wherein by means of the engagement of the at-least-one engaging pin member with the at-least-one cam groove, the hood member moves in its axial direction relative to the support member upon rotation of the hood member relative to the support member. Lens barriers are supported by the support member for covering the end of the lens barrel, the lens barrier means being openable. The lens barriers are driven in accordance with the movement of the hood member.

    摘要: A zoom lens barrel is disclosed with includes a stationary barrel. A rotatable cam ring is supported by the stationary barrel and is adapted to move along an optical axis direction in association with rotation of the rotatable cam ring. A lens guide ring is adapted to move together with the cam ring along the optical axis direction, and the cam ring is adapted to rotate relative to the lens guide ring, in association with axial movement of the cam ring. Cam grooves are provided for guiding the movement of at least two movable front and rear lens groups, with at least one groove being formed on the cam ring. Lens guide grooves are formed on the lens guide ring and are adapted to correspond to the cam grooves of the cam ring. At least one guide pin is provided which is adapted to extend through an associated cam groove and an associated lens guide groove. The cam grooves and lens guide grooves are shaped such that the movable lens groups can be moved along a predetermined track by the movement which results from axial movement and relative rotation of the cam ring and the lens guide ring.

    摘要: A hydrophobic microporous membrane substrate can be coated with a plasma polymerizate coating in order to reduce the pore size of the substrate to a size smaller than the original pore size but not less than about 10 A. By selecting the particular plasma polymerizate coating, the surface of the substrate may be rendered either hydrophilic or hydrophobic, while the body of the substrate retains the substrate's original properties of mechanical strength and chemical resistance. Three different methods of applying plasma polymer coatings by plasma polymerization techniques are disclosed. These membranes are suitable for separating particulate larger than about 10 A from solutions. These membranes in the form of hollow fibers can be incorporated into separatory modules.
