摘要： An apparatus for an idle mode terminal is configured to perform a method for operating the idle mode terminal in a Machine to Machine (M2M) communication system. A paging message is received from the base station during a paging listening interval. The Apparatus determines whether an indicator indicating receipt of multicast group data is included in the paging message. When the indicator indicating the receiving of multicast group data is included, data transmitted via a downlink resource that uses an identifier mask of a multicast group to which a terminal belongs is received. Thereafter, a paging non-listening interval is entered.

摘要： A method and apparatus for simultaneously communicating on at least two carrier frequencies, of which at least one carrier frequency is a licensed band and at least one carrier frequency is an unlicensed band are provided. The method includes broadcasting an operating status of the unlicensed band to a receiver device; collecting feedback data regarding channel conditions from the receiver device for both the licensed band and unlicensed band; determining, when a bandwidth request is received from the receiver device, whether to use the unlicensed band based on the channel conditions; transmitting an unlicensed band scheduling indication to the receiver device; and communicating with the receiver device using both the licensed band and the unlicensed band according to the transmitted unlicensed band scheduling indication.

摘要： Combinational networks may provide simultaneous connectivity over networks of different type between terminals. Communication sessions on different network types such as Circuit switched and Packet switched, belonging to the same user equipment can be correlated. In case a communication session on a circuit switched network is halted by a supplementary service e.g. at an event such as acceptance of Call Hold, a communication session on a correlated packet switched network should be halted as well. A user equipment that detects the event sends a halt message to the circuit switched network and a message to the packet switched network or a session state manager node. The session state manager node either forwards the halt-message to the packet switched network, or sends a halt-message to the packet switched network when the packet switched network does not notify that a halt has occurred.

Communication is provided through said network between said calling terminal and an answering terminal identified using said answering party identification data. Said answering party identification data is made available to at least one service control point in said network for identifying services associated with said answering terminal. The invention further relates to a switching device for use with said method.
