    摘要: A spring drive device in which a spring holder, a rotor and an output gear are all loosely mounted on a shaft. The spring holder is prevented from rotating and holds one end of a coil spring, the other end of which is held by the output gear. The rotor rotates together with the output gear but is limited in the angle through which it can rotate. The coil spring can be wound and thereafter provide motive power to the output gear.

    摘要: Provided is a backlight device having: a light source element having LEDs and a lens expanding light from the LEDs; a housing containing the element; a diffuser plate covering an opening portion of the housing; and a reflection sheet reflecting light emitted from the element, toward the diffuser plate. The LEDs are arranged in one or more rows, at a central zone. The lens has an incident surface receiving light from the LEDs, and an exit surface from which the light goes out, being expanded.     摘要: A light-emitting device used in a liquid crystal display device is provided with a planar illuminator that focuses emitted light on a predetermined light focus point, and an optical deflector that two dimensionally deflects the light from the planar illuminator. The planar illuminator switches an emission direction of the light to enable alternate switching between a first light focus state in which the predetermined light focus point is the position of a right eye of a viewer and a second light focus state in which the predetermined light focus point is the position of a left eye of the viewer. The optical deflector can modulate each of the predetermined light focus point in the first light focus state and the predetermined light focus point in the second light focus state according to movement of the viewer.

    摘要: An optical head device compatible to different types of optical discs and capable of guaranteeing a sufficiently wide dynamic range for a low density optical disc, and the like are provided.The optical head device includes a plurality of light sources switchably usable; an objective lens for converging light emitted from one of the plurality of light sources to an information recording layer of an optical disc; and a light detector for receiving the light reflected by the information recording layer and outputting an electric signal based on the amount of the received light. The plurality of light sources include a first light source for emitting light having a first wavelength and a second light source for emitting light having a second wavelength shorter than the first wavelength. In the optical head device, a defocus detection range of a focusing error signal obtained based on the light having the first wavelength is set to be wider than a defocus detection range of a focusing error signal obtained based on the light having the second wavelength.

    摘要: Provides a coupling lens which, when used in combination with an objective lens for a plurality of types of optical discs such as a high density disc, DVD, CD or the like, is capable of compensating for various types of aberrations including those caused by wavelength changes and thus providing good recording or reproduction characteristics with a good wavelength dispersion compensation ability; and an optical head and an optical disc apparatus (drive).A coupling lens is incorporated into an optical head for collecting laser light emitted from a plurality of light sources and having different wavelengths on an information recording face of different types of optical information recording mediums respectively. The coupling lens comprises a first lens and a second lens which are substantially in close contact with each other such that optical axes thereof match each other and designed such that the laser light having different wavelengths are refracted by the close contact face. The coupling lens is afocal for the shortest wavelength among the different wavelengths of the laser light.
