摘要: A portable container includes a body and a collapsible handgrip mounted on a peripheral side wall of the body. The handgrip includes a link pivotally mounted on the side wall of the body at one end thereof, an elongated guide member pivotally mounted on the side wall at one end thereof, and an elongated slide member hingedly connected to the other end of the link at one end thereof and engaging the guide member for sliding movement therealong. The handgrip is movable between a contracted position wherein the hinged ends of the link and the slide member are disposed adjacent to the side wall of the body and an expanded position wherein the hinged ends are spaced away from the side wall.

摘要: A fixing device for fixing an unfixed toner image on a recording sheet by passing the recording sheet through a fixing nip and applying heat and pressure to the recording sheet, the fixing device comprising: a heater including a resistance heater part and a supporting member, the resistance heater part having a positive resistance-temperature characteristic in a temperature range above a predetermined level, and the supporting member being insulative and supporting the resistance heater part such that the resistance heater part applies heat to the recording sheet; a current detector detecting a current supplied to the resistance heater part; and an abnormality determiner determining whether the resistance heater part has an abnormality, based on an initial current detected by the current detector at a predetermined time after a beginning of power supply to the resistance heater part and before the temperature of the resistance heater part reaches the predetermined level.

摘要: The disclosed is a computer system enabling a plurality of LPARs on a plurality of physical computers to share an SR-IOV device that requires an interface between a PF and a VF. In an environment where a PCI SR-IOV device is allocated to virtual machine monitors on a plurality of physical computers through an I/O switch, a PF is allocated to a first virtual machine monitor and a plurality of VFs is allocated to an LPAR on an optional virtual machine monitor. When a second virtual machine monitor detects an event that is generated from a VF to the PF, the second virtual machine monitor communicates the detected event to the first virtual machine monitor to which the PF is allocated, and allows the first virtual machine monitor to execute the PF event. Further, when the first virtual machine monitor detects an event that is generated from the PF to a VF, the first virtual machine monitor communicates the detected event to the second virtual machine monitor to which a target VF is allocated, and allows an LPAR on the second virtual machine monitor to execute the VF event.

摘要: A air spring 10 is provided, where flex deformation of a shoulder portion in a dustcover due to the restorative force of a bellows portion during compression thereof is prevented, whereby deterioration of the life of the dustcover due to such deformation is prevented. With the air spring 10, a stopper 82 of a deformation-preventing cap 70 is arranged at the outer peripheral side of a shoulder portion 54 in a dustcover 50. At the time of compression deformation of a bellows portion 56, the stopper 82 comes into contact with the shoulder portion 54, and flex deformation of the shoulder portion 54 towards a linking tube 52 side is restricted. Due to this, the restorative force from the compression deformed bellows portion 56 via the shoulder portion 54 can be supported by the stopper 82 of the deformation-preventing cap 70. Even in a case where the rigidity of the shoulder portion 54 relative to the restorative force of the compression deformed bellows portion 56 cannot be sufficiently increased, the amount of flex deformation towards the linking tube side of the shoulder portion 54 that received the restorative force of the bellows portion 56 can be decreased.
