摘要: A process for manufacturing a printing head is able to maintain an appropriate connection between a substrate and flying leads. The process includes a connecting step of connecting electric connection terminals of a substrate and flying leads provided on an electric wiring basic material and a mounting step of mounting a unit consisting of the electric wiring base material and the substrate connected together, on a printing head main body. During the connecting step, the substrate and each flying lead are electrically connected together with a predetermined distance between them. During the mounting step, the unit is fixed to the printing head main body so that the distance between each of the electric connection terminals of the substrate and the electric wiring base material is shorter than the predetermined distance. This forms a slack shape of each flying lead.

摘要: A surface inspection apparatus comprises a radiation mechanism for radiating a light beam to the surface of an object having an edge of a non-flat surface (for example, a rounded edge) or an edge of an inclined surface, a scanning mechanism for moving the object relative to a radiation position of the light beam for scanning, and a detector for detecting light scattered from the object, and further includes the following characteristic. The scanning mechanism, when the light beam for scanning is radiated to the edge of the object, is configured to move the object in the direction that increases an incident angle of the light beam with a normal to the surface of the edge as the objection moves relative to a radiation position of the light beam.

摘要: [PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED]To reduce the bending amount caused by Coulomb force of electrodes and obtain uniformity of surface processing in a plasma processing apparatus for a workpiece having a large area. [SOLUTION MEANS]An electrode structure 30X of a plasma processing apparatus comprises a pair of electrode rows 31X, 32X extending leftward and rightward and opposite to each other in back and forth directions. Each electrode row includes a plurality of electrode members 31A through 32C bilaterally arranged in a side-by-side relation. The electrode members of the two electrode rows, which are bilaterally arranged in substantially same positions, have opposite polarities and form row-to-row partial gaps 33p therebetween. The electrode members arranged adjacent to each other are opposite in polarity with respect to each other.

摘要: An optical disk device starts movement of a thread in a track-on state, and releases the track-on state when the thread moves by a certain amount, and gives a driving kick signal to an actuator. The movement of the thread and actuator can be placed in sufficiently good balance so that failure of track jump is prevented, thereby improving the reliability of the device body and suppressing the cost-up of the device body.
