A disk is inserted from the disk slot between a base plate and a top panel of the housing. A disk transfer mechanism has a motor and a rotation transmitting assembly for transmitting rotation of the motor to the transfer rollers. The disk transfer mechanism rotates the transfer rollers to transfer the disk onto a disk table. The rotation transmitting assembly includes a base-plate rotation transmitter disposed on the base plate and a top panel rotation transmitter disposed on the top panel. Thus, the components of the rotation transmitting assembly are distributed on the base plate and the top panel.

Further, a metal such as iron in the medium can be used as an internal standard. According to the method, a biodegradation rate of a non-natural organic compound can be measured safely, simply, rapidly, and accurately without providing any special measures against radiation.

摘要： Since a large part of an outer tube is made of light alloy such as aluminum, plating on a surface of the outer tube sometimes peels off. Thus, the surface of the outer tube is generally painted. However, a problem is presented in the external appearance of the outer tube due to painting. A structure of a front fork includes an outer tube into which an inner tube is movably inserted in an axial direction thereof. A stepped part is formed in the outer tube with a third elastic member fitted to the stepped part. A tube cover includes a lower portion which is supported by the third elastic member. Since an outer surface of the tube cover covering the outer tube is plated, the external appearance can be enhanced. Even if the outer tube has a rough surface, light metal castings or forgings can be used.

A driving source drives both the carrying mechanism and the elevating mechanism. A switching mechanism selectively supplies a driving force from the driving source to the carrying and elevating mechanisms. A rack part is formed in the member. The carrying mechanism includes a feed gear and an arm. The feed gear comes into engagement with the rack part and is rotatably attached to the arm. The switching mechanism swings the arm so that the feed gear is disengaged from the rack part when the elevating mechanism is driven.
