摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for decoding a received signal in a MIMO communication system and in at least one layer, each layer carrying at least one data symbol belonging to a signal constellation. The method includes, for one of the at least one layer, a maximum likelihood detection step. This step includes: selecting one candidate value for the data symbol of the layer, and determining the Euclidian distance between the received signal Y and the data signal transmitted using said candidate value multiplied by said channel matrix H, weighted by the inverse of a noise covariance matrix C such as ∥Y−ΣiHixi∥C−12, expressed as: Σi≠n∥Hi∥C−12|xi|2−2(HiHC−1Y−0.5Σj≠i,nHiHC−1Hjxj)x*i+∥Hn∥C−12|xn|2−2(HnHC−1Y−Σj≠nHnHC−1Hjxj)x*n=Σi≠nαiR(xi)2−2βiRxi+αnR(xn)2−2βnRxn+Σi≠nαiI(ℑxi)2−2βiIℑxi+αnI(ℑxn)2−2βnIℑxn. The terms depending on αk are computed by adding to each of them a predetermined constant depending on the size of the constellation of the layer k, called a constellation dependent constant.

摘要: Methods for blocking autoreactive T cell-initiated destruction of tissues in a mammal are provided. In one embodiment, the method comprises administering a purified CD24 polypeptide, a fusion protein comprising such polypeptide, or a biologically active fragment of such polypeptide to a mammalian subject who is suspected of having or predisposed to having an autoimmune disease. In another embodiment, anti-CD24 antibody or anti-CD24 Fab fragments are administered to the subject. In another embodiment, the method comprises administering a CD24 antisense molecule, an expression vector encoding a CD24 antisense molecule, CD24 dsRNAi, or an expression vector encoding CD24 dsRNAi to the subject. The present invention also relates to isolated and purified CD24 fusion proteins employed in the present methods and to transgenic mice that express the human CD24 protein on their T cells and/or their vascular endothelial cells but do not express murine heat shock antigen on any cells.

摘要: Disclosed are a method and apparatus for detecting frame boundary for a data stream received at an Ethernet FEC layer, as well as a decoding method and system for the same. The apparatus for detecting frame boundary may comprise: a buffer for buffering data in a data stream, a length of the data in the buffer being greater than one frame; a syndrome generator for calculating a current syndrome based on a first data item, a second data item, and an intermediate calculation result of a previous syndrome, wherein the first data item is the last bit in a current candidate frame, and the second data item is a bit preceding the current candidate frame; and a comparator for using the current syndrome to check whether the bit preceding the current candidate frame is a frame boundary of an Ethernet FEC layer. The apparatus for detecting frame boundary can improve the speed of frame boundary detection.
