摘要: Image data, such as image data coded in MPEG4 format, is verified by a client receiving an information data stream that is generated by multiplexing a plurality of coded object data and associated intellectual property management data, from a contents distribution server, wherein the intellectual property management data includes source information representing a copyright holder of the object data. Verification request data is transmitted, based on the source information included in the received intellectual property management data, to the copyright holder, via a different communication channel from that used for receiving the information data stream. The client receives, from the copyright holder, verification result data relating to the object data and then, a decoding process of the object data is controlled based on the verification result data.

摘要: A high pressure fuel pump has a plunger that extends through a cylinder and is reciprocally located in a pressurizing chamber. The plunger is reciprocated by a lifter and changes the volume of the pressurizing chamber to pressurize fuel in the pressurizing chamber. A seal member seals the cylinder from the lifter to prevent fuel that leaks from the pressurizing chamber from being mixed with lubricant that lubricates the lifter. A support to which the seal member is attached is formed separately from the cylinder. The support is fixed to the cylinder with the plunger extending through the support.

摘要: A method of reducing nitrous oxide which comprises introducing nitrous oxide into a reaction chamber disposed in contact with an electrolytic chamber having an anode and a cathode comprising a hydrogen-absorbing material, the cathode serving as a diaphragm separating the reaction chamber and the electrolytic chamber, and contacting the nitrous oxide with the diaphragm to thereby continuously reduce the nitrous oxide with hydrogen atoms electrolytically generated on the cathode, absorbed by the hydrogen-absorbing material and passing through the diaphragm. The cathode preferably has catalyst comprising a platinum group metal black deposited on the side of the cathode opposite the anode. Also disclosed is an electrolytic cell for the reduction of nitrous oxide partitioned with a diaphragm into an electrolytic chamber having an anode and a reduction reaction chamber, the diaphragm comprising a hydrogen-absorbing material, and the side of the diaphragm facing the electrolytic chamber serving as a cathode.

摘要: A common rail delivers fuel to a fuel injection valve for injecting fuel directly into each combustion chamber of a direct injection type gasoline engine. A connected accumulator incorporates a gas-sealed type damper. A body portion of the damper can stretch and shrink by being constructed of a metallic bellows, and gas is sealed in the metallic bellows. The pressure at which the gas is initially sealed within the damper is set for 4 Mpa or more, more preferably, for 8 Mpa or more. Further, to secure suppression of a variation in normal operation fuel pressure (for example, 10-12 Mpa), the pressure at which the gas is initially sealed within the damper is set to be lower than the normal operation fuel pressure, more preferably, lower than the normal operation fuel pressure by 1 Mpa or more.

摘要: An apparatus is provided for simultaneously generating a fluid flow and heating the flowing fluid. The apparatus includes a conductive material provided on at least a part of a member which is rotated. The rotatable member generates the flow of the fluid to be heated. Magnets are opposed to one side of the conductive material with a slight gap and are mounted within a casing for the rotatable member. Fluid flows through the casing and is heated due to a slip heat energy generated by rotating the conductive material relative to the magnet.
