Abstract:
Methods and systems for network-based or Internet-based software delivery are described. In one embodiment, an application program or software platform resides on a client. The program or platform is configured so that it is extensible based on software extensions that are deliverable over a network such as the Internet. Various extensions can be developed by third party developers for incorporation into the program or platform. In the described embodiment, extension files that comprise a software extension are hosted on an Internet server. Additional files are also hosted on the Internet server and describe aspects of the software extension. These additional files include files that describe a logical attachment of the extension to the program or platform, as well as files that describe the location of the extension files. Extensions are incorporated on a client by navigating to a particular Internet site through which the extensions can be accessed. The files describing the extension files are downloaded on the client. These files tell the client where the particular extension is to be plugged in, as well as where to find the appropriate extension files and how to download them. The extension files are then downloaded and incorporated into the program or platform.
Abstract:
An automatic tensioning side track assembly includes at least one of a screen receiver and a base track. The screen receiver includes a first magnet channel having a first outer wall continuously surrounding an entire perimeter of the first magnet channel. A first magnet is housed within the first magnet channel, wherein the first magnet channel is configured to entirely shield the first magnet from ambient fluid and debris. The base track is engaged with the screen receiver, wherein the base track includes a second magnet channel having a second outer wall continuously surrounding an entire perimeter of the second magnet channel. A second magnet is housed within the second magnet channel, wherein the second magnet channel is configured to entirely shield the second magnet from ambient fluid and debris.
Abstract:
A system for predicting ideal environmental conditions to grow plants, the system comprising: establishing a connection with at least one sensor; adjusting at least one setting of the at least one sensor; collecting environmental data from the sensor based on the at least one setting; manipulating the collected environmental data, wherein the data is manipulated from a first format to a second format, wherein the second format is readable by a predictive analyzing engine; performing a predictive model manipulation on the manipulated collected environmental data, wherein a future value of the environmental data is calculated; and manipulating a user interface based on the future value of the environmental data.
Abstract:
A system for analyzing a fluid includes an integrated fluid-electric cabinet having a fluid compartment and an electronic compartment. The fluid compartment and an electronic compartment are separated from one another by a partition wall. The partition wall includes opposed first and second surfaces. A flow cell assembly is disposed in the fluid compartment and is configured to be mounted on the first surface side of the partition wall. A probe head assembly is disposed in the electronic compartment and is mounted on the opposed second surface side of the partitioned wall. Both of the flow cell assembly and the probe head assembly are configured to be in electro-magnetic communication with one another for elemental analysis of the fluid such that the probe head assembly utilizes an X-ray source to analyze the fluid in a static mode or in flow mode through the flow cell assembly.

Abstract:
A process is described for treating waste plastics material to provide at least one on-specification fuel product. Plastics material is melted and then pyrolyzed in an oxygen-free atmosphere to provide pyrolysis gases. The pyrolysis gases are brought into contact with plates in a contactor vessel so that some long chain gas components condense and return to be further pyrolyzed to achieve thermal degradation. Short chain gas components exit the contactor in gaseous form and proceed to distillation to provide one or more on-specification fuel products. A pipe directly links the pyrolysis chamber to the contactor, suitable for conveying upwardly-moving pyrolysis gases and downwardly-flowing long-chain liquid for thermal degradation.
Abstract:
A vapor hydrated packaged catheter assembly and method of manufacturing and distributing same includes a gas impermeable package housing a catheter within a catheter-receiving cavity. The catheter assembly has a hydrophilic coating applied to at least a portion of the outer surface of a catheter tube or shaft which may be surrounded by a sleeve to provide a no-touch, sure grip feature. The catheter assembly is disposed within the catheter receiving cavity of the package together with a limited amount of a vapor donating liquid provided as a source of vapor to activate the hydrophilic coating. The amount of vapor donating liquid is less than the amount that would otherwise be sufficient to cause a spill hazard. It may be loose liquid as a desired percentage of the volume of a tube-receiving portion of the catheter receiving cavity of the package, or it may be contained in a liquid sequestering element. The activation of at least some of the hydrophilic coating occurs solely by reason of exposure of the outer surface of the catheter to a vapor produced by the vapor donating liquid. The distribution of the catheter following manufacture is delayed for a time sufficient to permit the vapor to complete hydration of the entire hydrophilic coating on the surface.
Abstract:
A motor box is used to rack withdrawable devices into or out of the associated cell in a switchgear cabinet. A hand held control is used to operate the motor box from a remote location. The motor box is attached to a mounting assembly on the switchgear cabinet door. The assembly can be part of the door or separately attached to the door. The mounting assembly allows for easy alignment of the motor box to the door and prevents rotation of the motor box when the box is latched to the mounting assembly. A cart is used to transport the motor box, remote control and associated peripherals to and from the switchgear cabinet.
Abstract:
A system and method to facilitate the transfer of monetary balances from a first predetermined location where a user holds a personal account to a second predetermined location, unrelated to the first predetermined location, where a user holds a separate personal account.
Abstract:
Methods and apparatus for managing data storage in hybrid memory devices utilizing single level and multi level memory cells. Logical addresses can be distributed between single level and multilevel memory cells based on a frequency of write operations performed. Initial storage of data corresponding to a logical address in memory can be determined by various methods including initially writing all data to single level memory or initially writing all data to multilevel memory. Other methods permit a host to direct logical address writes to single level or multilevel memory cells based on anticipated usage.
