Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for flexible resource reservations in sidelink communications. An example method that may be executed by a first user equipment (UE) includes determining, for sidelink communications with a second UE, one or more first resource reservations and one or more second resource reservations. The second resource reservations may have a different frequency resource allocation than the first resource reservations. The method also includes transmitting, to the second UE, control information having an indication of the first resource reservations and the second resource reservations. The method further includes communicating with the second UE based on the first resource reservations and the second resource reservations.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support multiple-transmission and reception point (multi-TRP) based positioning. The first request indicates a multi-TRP positioning session is enabled. The method also includes receiving, from a second UE including a second set of TRPs, a first response based on the first request. The first response indicates a number of TRPs of the second set of TRPs available for the first SL positioning session. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: In one aspect, resource selection may be performed where single frequency full-duplex (SFFD) UEs are present in a V2X system. Signaling and procedures may enable the coexistence of half-duplex (HD) and SFFD-capable UEs. Based on the resource reservation information obtained from other UEs, the SFFD UE may determine which among the reserved time-frequency resources is amenable for performing the SFFD operation. In one aspect, the time-frequency resources chosen for SFFD may partially or fully overlap with the reserved time-frequency resources, based on the self-interference cancellation capability of the SFFD UE, the RSRP, and/or the RSSI on the reserved time-frequency resources. Accordingly, the full-duplex capability of an SFFD-capable UE may be leveraged, and spectral efficiency improved.

Abstract: Aspects relate to mechanisms for a wireless communication device to generate a superposition transmission of a sidelink signal to be transmitted to at least one receiving wireless communication device and an uplink signal to be transmitted to a base station. The wireless communication device may transmit the superposition transmission on resources allocated by the base station on a common carrier utilized for both sidelink and uplink transmissions. The superposition transmission includes a base layer corresponding to the uplink signal and an enhanced layer corresponding to the sidelink signal. The wireless communication device may further generate and transmit interference assistance information to the receiving wireless communication device for use by the receiving wireless communication device in canceling the base layer from the superposition transmission.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first user equipment (UE) may belong to a group of UEs that includes at least a second UE and a third UE. The first UE may perform a channel access procedure and, when the channel access procedure is successful, may transmit a first positioning reference signal (PRS) over a sidelink communication link to the second and third UEs. The first UE may transmit the first PRS during a first time interval of a transmission window. Based on receiving the first PRS, the second UE may perform a channel access procedure and may transmit a second PRS to the first UE during a second time interval of the transmission window. The second PRS may be multiplexed (e.g., using frequency division multiplexing (FDM) or code division multiplexing (CDM)) with at least a third PRS transmitted by the third UE.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A cellular user equipment (C-UE) and vehicle UE (V-UE) may perform a discovery process. The C-UE and the V-UE may exchange identification and location information. One of the UEs may communicate the identification information of one or both of the UEs to a base station or a sidelink wireless device. The base station and the sidelink wireless device may be co-located. Based on the identification information of the C-UE and the V-UE, the base station may determine that the C-UE and the V-UE are co-located, and the base station may perform downlink transmissions based on the determined co-location.

Abstract: Aspects relate to a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) in a sidelink wireless communication network. In some examples, a sidelink device generates a DMRS based on first and second identifiers of the sidelink device. In some examples, the initialization parameter may be based on a first identifier of a sidelink device. In some examples, a first sidelink device synchronizes with a second sidelink device based on broadcast channel information that is obtained by using DMRS information to decode a received broadcast signal. In some examples, the DMRS information may be based on first and second identifiers of the first sidelink device.
