摘要: Techniques are described for wireless communication. A first method includes winning, at a UE, contention for access to a channel of a shared radio frequency spectrum band; identifying a number of frequency resources of the band that are allocated to the UE for at least one uplink transmission following the winning contention for access; and transmitting a channel reservation signal using a set of frequency resources associated with the identified number of frequency resources. A second method includes winning, at a UE, contention for access to a channel of a shared radio frequency spectrum band; identifying a number of frequency resources of the band that are pre-designated by a base station for transmission of a channel reservation signal; and transmitting the channel reservation signal, after the winning contention for access, using a set of frequency resources associated with the identified number of pre-designated frequency resources.

A method for wireless communication at a user equipment (UE) includes identifying a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to transmit in an uplink pilot time slot (UpPTS) of a subframe, determining whether to transmit uplink control information (UCI) on the PUSCH in the UpPTS, and transmitting the PUSCH in the UpPTS based at least in part on the determining. A method for wireless communication at a network access device includes determining whether to schedule a transmission of UCI on a PUSCH in a UpPTS of a subframe, scheduling the PUSCH in the UpPTS based at least in part on the determining, and transmitting, to a UE, scheduling information for the PUSCH in the UpPTS.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Resources for narrowband communication in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band may be configured and allocated based on resource availability, regulatory constraints, and device capability or category. A narrowband wireless device, such as a machine type communication device or other relatively low complexity device, may communicate using one or more narrowband carriers, which may occupy between one tone and multiple resource blocks in an unlicensed spectrum band (e.g., any number of resources between one (1) tone and multiple resource blocks (RBs)). Different device types may thus be configured differently as they move between geographic regions. The base station may then communicate with the narrowband mobile device based on the resource allocation and the carrier configuration.

摘要: Measurement and demodulation may be impacted by varying transmit power due to varying numbers of carriers in a shared radio frequency (RF) spectrum band. Methods, systems, and devices are described for wireless communication. One method includes monitoring at least one carrier of a RF spectrum band for a first reference signal transmitted in a number of listen-before-talk (LBT) radio frames from a plurality of LBT radio frames associated with the plurality of carriers, where the plurality of LBT radio frames are received at the user equipment (UE) in different sets of at least one carrier of the RF spectrum band at different times, and where the first reference signal is associated with a first fixed transmit power; receiving a plurality of instances of the first reference signal; measuring the plurality of instances; and determining a cell measurement based at least in part on the measurements of the plurality of instances.

摘要: Management of shared transmission resources is disclosed for multiple radio access networks (RANs) sharing access to a finite number of transmission slots. Multiple permutations of slot assignments are configured in which each competing network is assigned a specific slot in each permutation. The sequence of permutations provides a fair distribution of spectrum access by the competing networks, such that in each permutation of the permutation sequence, networks assigned to lower priority slots may be assigned to higher priority slots in later permutations.

A wireless device may schedule an autonomous uplink (UL) transmission and a scheduled UL transmission during the same time period. The wireless device may determine that it is operating in a limited power state and therefore cannot transmit both the autonomous UL transmission and the scheduled UL transmission. The wireless device may prioritize one of the autonomous UL transmission and the scheduled UL transmission based at least in part on a priority configuration. The wireless device may receive the priority configuration from a base station (e.g., in radio resource control signaling).

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. The described techniques provide for transmission of uplink data from a user equipment (UE) in the absence of scheduled uplink resources for the uplink data transmission that are allocated to the UE prior to the transmission of the uplink data. Various examples provide frame structures that may be used for unscheduled uplink transmissions of a UE. Unscheduled uplink transmissions may be transmitted in a shared or unlicensed radio frequency spectrum, and access to the shared or unlicensed radio frequency spectrum may be determined based on a priority of an operator associated with a UE for accessing the spectrum. Beamforming techniques may be used for uplink and downlink transmissions and beam widths for beamformed transmissions may be selected based on the information transmitted in a transmission, an operator priority for use of shared radio frequency spectrum, or any combination thereof.

摘要: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described that provide for a base station to use frequency hopping for cell acquisition according to a frequency hopping pattern. The frequency hopping pattern may include a set of anchor channels and a set of non-anchor channels used by a base station to communicate with wireless devices. The base station may occupy an anchor channel more often than a non-anchor channel and may transmit acquisition signals using the anchor channel. The anchor channel may also be used by the base station and a user equipment (UE) to exchange paging information, positioning information, random access resources, location of other channels, etc.

The base station may then generate control signaling based on the CCA result information for transmission to the one or more UEs served by the base station.

摘要: Systems, methods, and apparatuses for detecting interference caused by a wireless local area network (WLAN) and a wireless wide area network (WWAN) node operating in an unlicensed or shared spectrum is disclosed. In accordance with the present disclosure, a base station may generate a null tone pattern for one or more subframes transmitted to the UE. The null tone pattern may include one or more null tones mapped to consecutive symbols in each resource block to detect interference. Accordingly, a UE may monitor a wireless channel from a base station for a null tone transmission. The UE may detect a null tone pattern by decoding a known physical layer channel to identify the null tone pattern. In some aspects, the UE may generate channel estimates, decode allocated resources, determine timing of future transmissions and/or establish communication with the base station based on the identified null tone pattern.
