Abstract: The present application discloses a method for configuring and transmitting a key, which includes that: a) a serving cell (PCell) of UE determines a key (KeNB) used by a SCell and transmits the KeNB to the SCell; and b) the PCell transmits configuration information for configuring the SCell to the UE after receiving a response message from the SCell, and receives a response message from the UE. Or, the method includes that: a SCell of UE transmits a cell key request to a MME and receives key information from the MME; and the SCell transmits the key information received from the MME to the UE, and receives a response message from the UE. By the present application, data of the SCell is transmitted after being encrypted, so as to avoid a case that the data is decoded by other users, and further guarantee the security of the data.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present disclosure provides a method for supporting paging of a low complexity UE, including: determining, by a target base station during handover of a UE, whether a source base station during the handover supports low complexity UE, and transmitting paging capability information of the UE to a Mobility Management Entity MME in response to determining that the source base station does not support low complexity UE, wherein the paging capability information of the UE is used by the MME for paging the UE. The method provided by embodiments of the present disclosure is able to enhance paging with respect to the low complexity UE.

Abstract: A method for controlling a wireless local area network (WLAN) bearer is provided. The method includes a base station receives information including at least one of WLAN information of a WLAN node, WLAN aggregation response information, WLAN aggregation update response information, WLAN aggregation update information and a WLAN capability of UE. According to the received information, the base station instructs the UE to perform traffic steering between an E-UTRAN and the WLAN, or instructs the UE to perform control processing for the EUTRAN and WLAN aggregation. By using the present disclosure, efficiency of WLAN bearer control is improved.

Abstract: A method for supporting fast recovery of a User Equipment (UE) includes performing, by a serving base station, UE context synchronization for one or more other base stations in a related small cell cluster when a UE accesses the serving base station, performing, by a base station that the UE performs a radio resource control (RRC) connection re-establishment, the RRC connection re-establishment for the UE according to UE context saved in a synchronization process. The present also discloses another method and system for supporting UE fast recovery. By applying the technical solution disclosed by the present disclosure, when the UE moves in a small cell scenario, the UE can be recovered quickly in the case of a failure, so as to avoid the UE returns to an idle mode, avoid data loss, guarantee business continuity, and improve UE experience.

Abstract: This application discloses a method of using NH and NCC pairs to resolve security issues. It includes: an MME sends a sequence including multiple NH and NCC pairs to S1GW that is calculated to correspond to a UE. After the S1GW receives a UE handover message or a UE bearer switch message from a base station, the S1GW may choose a next unused NH and NCC pair from the sequence sent by the MME and send it to a target base station. In using this application, part of the bearer switch of the UE or the switch of the UE can be terminated at the S1GW or HeNB GW, which reduces impact on the core network and cuts down on the use of system resources.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for assigning data to split bearers in dual connectivity is provided. The apparatus includes a master evolved Node B (MeNB) of a user equipment (UE) configured to receive information of available buffer decided and transmitted by a secondary eNB (SeNB) through an X2 interface between the MeNB and the SeNB, determine whether the information is about available buffer for a UE or for an evolved radio access bearer (E-RAB) established on the SeNB based on an indicator in the information or a bearer that transported the information, and adjust the amount of data assigned to the SeNB according to the information of the available buffer. The apparatus can accommodate eNBs implemented in various manners, make full use of the bandwidth of data bearers, and reduce delay in data transmission.

Abstract: A system for configuring a UE-AMBR includes a MME to send the UE-AMBR to an eNB covering the serving cell of the UE, the eNB covering the serving cell of the UE establishes a radio access bearer of the UE on at least one secondary cell. The MME sends an AMBR of the UE in the primary eNB covering the serving cell of the UE and an AMBR of the UE in a secondary eNB to the primary eNB. The primary eNB sends the AMBR of the secondary eNB to the corresponding secondary eNB. The technical solutions of the present disclosure can make total rate of all non-GBR services of the UE be not larger than the UE-AMBR when the UE has multiple S1 bearers or one S1 bearer.
