    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for producing a 2-fluoro-6-halophenol as an intermediate; a process for producing a 2-alkoxy-3-fluorophenol and further a 1,2-dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene from the 2-fluoro-6-halophenol; a second process for producing a 1,2-dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene from the 2-fluoro-6-halophenol; and a 2-alkoxy-3-fluorophenol. The 2-fluoro-6-halophenol can be obtained using a 2-fluorophenol as a starting material and through a sulfonation reaction, a halogenation reaction, and a deprotection reaction. The 2-fluoro-6-halophenol is alkyl-etherified, and subsequently the halogen atom is converted into a hydroxyl group to obtain the 2-alkoxy-3-fluorophenol, which is further alkyl-etherified to thereby obtain the 1,2-dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene. Alternatively, a 1,2-dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene is also obtained by converting the halogen atom of the 2-fluoro-6-halophenol into a hydroxyl group to thereby form 3-fluorocatechol and subsequently alkyl-etherifying two hydroxyl groups thereof. The processes of the invention realize low production costs and high process yields, and thus are suitable for industrial production of a 1,2-dialkoxy-3-fluorobenzene.

They can be used as insulin sensitisers. They can be used to prevent, delay or treat diseases which are related to insulin antagonism mediated by PTP1B, especially diabetes type II and obesity. The invention also provides methods for preparing these inhibitors.

    摘要: An assembly includes at least two medical treatment units, each of which can be allocated to a patient and at least two peripheral devices, each of which can be allocated to a patient. The peripheral devices and the treatment units have means for allocating a peripheral device to a treatment unit and means for verifying the allocation of a peripheral device to a patient. To allocate a peripheral device to a treatment unit, the peripheral device is placed by operators in a receiving unit belonging to the treatment unit. Said receiving unit is preferably designed as a charging station for the battery of the peripheral device. In the event of a successful allocation of peripheral device and patient, confirmed by the receipt of physiological data of the patient, the operators verify the correct allocation of a peripheral device to the patient and must confirm the correct allocation by confirmation means. The peripheral device is only released if the operator has confirmed the correct allocation, preferably within a predefined time period.

    摘要: Partial differential equations (PDEs) are used in the invention for various problems in computer the vision space. The present invention provides a framework for learning a system of PDEs from real data to accomplish a specific vision task. In one embodiment, the system consists of two PDEs. One controls the evolution of the output. The other is for an indicator function that helps collect global information. Both PDEs are coupled equations between the output image and the indicator function, up to their second order partial derivatives. The way they are coupled is suggested by the shift and rotational invariance that the PDEs should hold. The coupling coefficients are learnt from real data via an optimal control technique. The invention provides learning-based PDEs that make a unified framework for handling different vision tasks, such as edge detection, denoising, segementation, and object detection.

In one example, the detected likely abnormalities in the outlying tissue are located within a first distance from the imaged tissue border, wherein the first distance corresponds to a spatial ambit of a neighborhood-based feature computed by the CAD algorithm.

    摘要: A framework for in-memory space management for content management database systems is provided. A per-instance in-memory dispenser is partitioned. An incoming transaction takes a latch on a partition and obtains sufficient block usage to perform and complete the transaction. Generating redo information is decoupled from transaction level processing and, instead, is performed when block requests are loaded into the in-memory dispenser or synced therefrom to a per-instance on-disk structure.
