    摘要: A robust digital controller is equipped with a high degree of approximation and is able to incorporate a novel two-degree-of-freedom robust digital control system without substantially considering the magnitude of the control inputs and there is provided its designing device. A control compensating means is configured as an integral type control system in which a discrete transfer function Wry(z) between a target value r and a controlled variable y is approximated to a higher-approximate quadratic approximate model transfer function Wm(z) and an arithmetic processing can be performed within the digital controller based on the model transfer function Wm(z). Further, the designing device automatically calculates parameters constituting the control system. Consequently, a robust digital controller can be easily realized that is equipped with a high degree of approximation as compared with a conventional approximate digital control system for realizing a first-order model and is robust against output noises.

    摘要: A developer container with an increased capacity that does not enlarge a process cartridge or an apparatus main body used therewith includes flanges on an opposite surface of a developing frame respectively contacting flanges formed on the upper part and the lower part on a wall surface of a container frame, on which a developer feeding opening is formed. To form the developer, container the flanges are welded at their connection portions by ultrasonic welding. Then, a flange of a lid frame is connected to a flange of the container frame by ultrasonic waves, thereby forming a developer container, in which the container frame is connected with the developing frame with the developer feeding opening being put between the frames.

    摘要: An electrophotographic image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording material includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum, a charger for charging the photosensitive drum, a developer for developing a latent image formed on the photosensitive drum into a toner image, a transferrer for transferring the toner image onto the recording material, a fixer for fixing the toner image on the recording material, a motor, a main assembly side gear for receiving a driving force from the motor, and a hole formed substantially at a center of the gear. The hole has a polygonal cross-section. The apparatus also includes a projection provided at a longitudinal end of the photosensitive drum. When the main assembly side gear rotates with the hole and projection engaged with each other, a rotational driving force is transmitted from the gear to the photosensitive drum through the hole and the projection with the projection is pulled into the hole. An end portion of a shaft having the projection and a surface defining the hole contact each other so that the process cartridge is positioned in place in a longitudinal direction of the photosensitive drum relative to the main assembly. The apparatus also includes a mover for imparting relative movement between the hole and the photosensitive drum to engage the projection with the hole.

    摘要: A process cartridge detachably mountable to a main assembly of an electrophotographic image forming apparatus includes a motor, a main assembly side gear for receiving a driving force from the motor and a main assembly recess defined by a twisted surface. The main assembly recess is substantially coaxial with the gear, and a main assembly projection provided in the main assembly and substantially coaxial with the gear. The process cartridge includes an electrophotographic photosensitive drum; a process device actable on the photosensitive drum; and a twisted cartridge projection engageable with the twisted surfaces. The projection is provided at a longitudinal end of the photosensitive drum. The cartridge also includes a cartridge recess provided at a free end of the cartridge projection and substantially coaxial with the cartridge projection. When the process cartridge is mounted to the main assembly, the main assembly projection enters the cartridge recess. When the main assembly side gear rotates with the main assembly recess and cartridge projection engaged with each other, a rotational driving force is transmitted from the gear to the photosensitive drum through engagement between the main assembly recess and the cartridge projection.

    摘要: Disclosed are a lactone-modified polyvinyl alcohol and a process for the preparation thereof, a polymer composition, a permanently anti-electrostatic resin composition, a lactone-modified resin having hydroxyl groups, and a process for the preparation thereof. The lactone-modified polyvinyl alcohol can be used in wide fields owing to the capability of freely adjusting the water solubility, such as water-soluble, gradually water-soluble, low water-soluble, and water-insoluble by a degree modified by lactone compounds, and owing to possessing properties both of PVA and lactones. Furthermore, the lactone-modified polyvinyl alcohol has properties such as being plasticizers or softening agents, and as a result, there can be provided a polymer composition having excellent properties by mixing with a hydrophilic polymer or polar polymer. Still further, a blend resin composition in which a variety of resins are blended with the lactone-modified polyvinyl alcohol has an excellent permanently-anti-electrostatic property, and the resin composition having a permanently-anti-electrostatic property can be preferably employed as a variety of molded articles such as parts for electric appliances, textiles, films, etc.
