    摘要: An image forming apparatus includes an image bearing member; developing-cleaning member for cleaning the image bearing member by removing residual toner from the image bearing member simultaneously with formation of a toner image by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the image bearing member with toner having a charging polarity opposite from a charge polarity of the electrostatic latent image; transfer member for transferring the toner image from the image bearing member to a transfer material; and charging member for charging the toner remaining on the image bearing member after image transfer by the transfer member and before development by the developing-cleaning member to a polarity which is the same as the charging polarity of the toner image, and for charging the image bearing member to a polarity which is opposite from the charging polarity of the toner image.

    摘要: A composite magnetic head comprises a pair of magnetic core halves each including a core block formed of an oxide magnetic material and a soft magnetic thin film disposed on said core block interposed with a reaction inhibiting layer, said core halves abutting to each other so that a magnetic gap is defined between the ends of said soft magnetic thin films. The magnetic head has a size relation bcd/a.ltoreq.0.2.times.10.sup.-10 m.sup.2 wherein a is a gap length, measured along the proceeding direction of a magnetic recording medium, c a gap depth, d a gap width as measured along the track width and b is a thickness of said reaction inhibiting layer. Wavy (beat) noise of output signal due to the psuedo gap produced by the reaction inhibiting layer is effectively suppressed.

    摘要: An image forming apparatus, comprises: an electrostatic image-bearing member for holding an electrostatic latent image; a developing means for developing the electrostatic latent image to form a toner image on the electrostatic image-bearing member, the developing means including a non-magnetic color toner developing means for development with a developer comprising a non-magnetic color toner and a magnetic toner developing means for development with a magnetic toner, wherein the non-magnetic toner has a volume-average particle size of 4 to 15 microns, the magnetic toner contains 17 to 60% by number of magnetic toner particles having a particle size of 5 microns or smaller, 1-23% by number of magnetic toner particles having a particle size of 8.0-12.7 microns and 2.0% by volume or less of magnetic toner particles having a size of 16 microns or larger, and the magnetic toner has a volume-average particle size of 4-9 micron and a degree of aggregation of 50-95%; a transfer means for transferring the toner image formed on the electrostatic image-bearing member to a transfer-receiving material; and a cleaning means for blade-cleaning the surface of the electrostatic image-bearing member after the transfer.

    摘要: At least one spiraled semi-circular shaped coil is printed on each surface of a wafer. The coil on a first surface of the wafer is arranged in such a manner that it is rotated 90 degrees with respect to the coil on a second surface thereof. In one embodiment, two such printed coils are symmetrically provided on each surface of the wafer, and the pattern of the printed coils on the first surface is arranged to be rotated 90 degrees with respect to the pattern of the printed coils on the second surface thereof. The spiraling directions of the coils on the same surface are inverse or opposite each other. The inner terminals of the coils on each surface are connected and an output is taken out from the outer terminals thereof, or vice versa. A printed coil is employed, for example, in a moving coil type pick-up cartridge.

    摘要: Even after power-down, distinction between a transition from a PLL normal-oscillation state and a transition from a PLL self-oscillation is allowed.A semiconductor device includes a first region which, after having transited from a power-supply state to a power-down state, returns to the power-supply state again, a second region which holds a power source voltage regardless of power-down of the first region, and an oscillator which generates a first clock signal supplied to the first region. The first region includes a PLL circuit. The second region includes an information holding unit capable of holding information which can distinguish whether the operation mode of the PLL circuit is a PLL normal-oscillation mode or a PLL self-oscillation mode, and determines the operation mode of the PLL circuit when the first region has returned from the power-down state to the power-supply state, according to the information held in the information holding unit.
