摘要: A lens array 22C has convex lenses 221 and 221C arranged in alternate and staggering manner to one another. In combination with a condenser lens 23, the convex lenses 221 form images of respective convex lenses 211 of a lens array 21 on a plane 24 to be illuminated in overlapping so that an illuminance distribution on the plane 24 is almost uniform, while the convex lenses 221C whose focal length is longer than that of the convex lenses 211 make on the plane 24 an illuminance distribution of a mountain-shape. Flat plate portions and concave lenses may be employed instead of the convex lenses 221C. A polarization conversion element comprises two elements and an element disposed therebetween with its longitudinal direction being perpendicular to the two element. The images of a light emitting part are included in band-shaped useful incident areas. A polarization conversion section comprises a middle part which is thin but has a larger divergent angle and side parts each has a smaller divergent angle and a simpler construction but is thicker with its size larger.

摘要: A power supply device for driving liquid crystal which generates four liquid crystal drive voltages V1 and V4 between first and second reference voltages, the power supply device comprising: a voltage division circuit 102 which divides a voltage between voltages between voltages V1 and V5 and generates four pairs of first voltages NV1 to NV4 and second voltages PV1 to PV4; and four impedance conversion circuits 103 and 104 which generate impedance converted liquid crystal drive voltages V1 to V4 based on the four pairs of the first and second voltages. Each impedance conversion circuit comprises voltage follower type of differential amplifier circuits 120 and 110 to which a pair of the first and second voltages is input, and an output circuit 130 which is driven by the differential amplification circuits. The N-type transistor 134 and P-type transistor 132 in the output circuit are independently driven by the first and second output voltages VN, VP from the differential amplification circuits 120 and 110.

摘要: A percutaneous or permucosal patch drug preparation. The preparation includes: (1) a backing layer impermeable to a drug component, (2) a drug storage layer which holds the drug component therein and is situated under the central portion of the backing layer, (3) a protective film which is impermeable to the drug component, has notches and is situated under the drug storage layer and the peripheral portion of the backing layer, (4) a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer which is situated under the protective film, and (5) a releasable liner layer which is impermeable to the drug component and situated under the pressure-sensitive layer. When the releasable liner layer is peeled off of the preparation, the protective film is torn along the notches and the portion of the protective film surrounded by the notches is removed together with the releasable liner layer and a portion of the adhesive between the protective film and the releasable liner layer. The patch drug preparation is held on the skin or mucosa of a patient by the pressure-sensitive adhesive remaining on the peripheral portion of the protective film. The drug held in the drug storage layer is released directly to the mucosa or to the skin.

摘要: Columnar prisms 22 to 24, cross sections of which are parallelograms, are arranged symmetrically on both sides of a columnar prism 21 whose cross section is an isosceles right triangle. The prisms are bonded to their adjacent prisms at polarization separation films D1 to D3 which are dielectric multilayer films. A reflective films is applied on the outermost surface of the outside prism 24. The polarization separation films D1 and D3, which are located in odd-numbered order from the prism 21, transmit incident p-polarized light and reflect incident s-polarized light, the polarization separation film D2 located in even numbered order from the prism 21 transmits the incident s-polarized light and reflects the incident p-polarized light. In order to achieve uniform polarization at the emission surface of a polarization separation/conversion device 20, a 1/2 wave plate C2 is applied on to the emission surfaces of the prisms 22 and 23. The advantages can be achieved in a structure in which the polarization separation film D2 is replaced by a reflective film.

摘要: A touch sensing device employing a new sensing method of the present invention is composed of the sensing portion which senses capacitance change of the touch sensing electrodes forming the touch panel, plurality of capacitance compensating capacitors which are used in common for the sensing electrodes in order to compensate fluctuation of touch sensing electrodes of the touch panel, and the ROM which is storing the data for selecting the capacitance compensating capacitors. The ON-OFF output voltage levels in the touch/non-touch conditions to the touch sensing electrodes can be equalized for each electrode and thereby the touch sensing with high accuracy can be realized by selecting the capacitance compensating capacitor by means of the ROM at the time of retrieving each touch sensing electrode.
