摘要: An aberration correction lens 4 is disposed in a space between a laser light source 3 and an objective lens 5, and a lens holder 10 is frictionally coupled to a drive shaft 7 via a frictional holding body 8. A piezoelectric element 6 is provided to one end of the drive shaft 7. The piezoelectric element 6 extends and contracts in response to an applied voltage. The lens holder 10 is moved relatively with respect to the drive shaft 7 in the drive shaft direction by varying a change rate when the applied voltage to the piezoelectric element 6 is increased and decreased.

摘要: In a printer, when a cover is closed, a paper issuing path, and a paper setting path are formed downstream from a cutter mechanism in a paper transport path. The paths are switched over by a movable guide. During a normal printing process, the movable guide is swung by its own weight to close the paper setting path, and guides a paper to the paper issuing path. By contrast, during a process of setting paper, the movable guide is swung by the rigidity of the paper itself toward the paper issuing path, whereby the paper is prevented from being deformed with respect to the cutter mechanism.

摘要: Both organic waste or wastewater and methane-generating bacteria are contained in organic waste or wastewater. When organic waste or wastewater containing these bacteria is cultured as a base material, the hydrogen produced by the hydrogen-generating bacteria is consumed by the methane-generating bacteria. The purpose of the invention is achieved by controlling the biophase with heat treatment so that the activity of hydrogen-generating bacteria having sporulation ability contained in the organic waste is maintained, while the hydrogen-consuming, methane-producing bacteria are decreased. Specifically, this invention provides a method of effectively generating hydrogen gas using hydrogen-generating bacteria by adjusting the treatment temperature to 68-95° C., and adjusting the treatment time and pH.

摘要: A magnesium alloy material having excellent impact resistance is provided. The magnesium alloy material is composed of a magnesium alloy that contains more than 7.5% by mass of Al and has a Charpy impact value of 30 J/cm2 or more. Typically, the magnesium alloy material has an elongation of 10% or more at a tension speed of 10 m/s in a high-speed tensile test. The magnesium alloy is composed of a precipitate, typically made of an intermetallic compound containing at least one of Al and Mg, and contains particles having an average particle size of 0.05 μM or more and 1 μm or less dispersed therein. The total area of the particles accounts for 1% by area or more and 20% by area or less. The magnesium alloy material containing fine precipitate particles dispersed therein has high impact absorption capacity through dispersion strengthening and has excellent impact resistance.

摘要: A magnesium alloy material having high corrosion resistance is provided. The magnesium alloy material contains a magnesium alloy containing 7.3% to 16% by mass Al, wherein a region having an Al content of 0.8x % by mass or more and 1.2x % by mass or less occupies 50% by area or more, a region having an Al content of 1.4x % by mass or more occupies 17.5% by area or less, wherein x % by mass denotes the Al content of the entire magnesium alloy material, and there is substantially no region having an Al content of 4.2% by mass or less. The magnesium alloy material has small variations in Al concentration and includes a few regions having a very low Al content, thereby effectively preventing and retarding local corrosion. Thus, the magnesium alloy material has higher corrosion resistance than die-cast components having the same Al content.

摘要: A protection circuit that interrupts a supply of power to a driving circuit for a power conversion apparatus upon detection of an abnormality includes switches connected in series between the power supply and the driving circuit. An interruption signal enabling/disabling circuit controls the transmission of an interruption signal from the power conversion apparatus to one of the switches and turns the switch off. A monitoring circuit monitors a voltage output from the switches, and determines that the switch which is to be turned off is in a short-circuit state if the voltage is a normal value. A switch may also be determined to be in a short-circuit fault state if the interruption signal turns the switches off, and if a monitored voltage output from the switches decreases at a decay rate faster than a decay rate in a condition where the switch is not in a short-circuit state.
