Abstract:
The invention relates to a method wherein a transport layer association is established. Thereafter, a handover condition is detected in the first mobile node, which obtains a second address. The second address is updated to a first name server node. A query message is sent to a second name server node for an address of the second mobile node. The second address is indicated to the second mobile node. The first mobile node waits for a response from the second name server node or the second mobile node. Upon receiving a new address for the second mobile node from the second name server node, the first mobile node repeats the indication of the second address of the first mobile node to the second mobile node using the new address as a destination address for the second mobile node.

The present disclosure provides isolated binding molecules that bind to the human OX40R, nucleic acid molecules encoding an amino acid sequence of the binding molecules, vectors comprising the nucleic acid molecules, host cells containing the vectors, methods of making the binding molecules, pharmaceutical compositions containing the binding molecules, and methods of using the binding molecules or compositions.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to methods and apparatuses for providing selective network access, wherein a cell type indication is provided based on at least one of a preamble and a header portion of a broadcast signal. At the receiving end, it is checked based on at least one of the preamble and the header portion, whether broadcast signals are received from different first and second cell types. The first cell type is selected for network access, if both broadcast signals from the first and second cell types are received with sufficient strength.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for ontology-based classification of media content are provided. With the method and apparatus, initial confidence values of classifiers in a hierarchical classification structure are modified based on relationships between classifiers. A confidence value for a classifier is boosted by a boosting factor based on a correspondence between the confidence value and confidence values of ancestor classifiers in the hierarchical classification structure. A confidence value for a classifier is modified by a confusion factor based on a correspondence between the confidence value of the classifier and the confidence values of mutually exclusive classifiers in the hierarchical classification structure. In this way, a more accurate representation of the actual confidence that media content falls within the classification associated with the classifier is obtained. From this improved classification mechanism, indices for media content may be generated for use in accessing the media content at a later time.
Abstract:
Methods, apparatuses and systems capture data related to a food item via one or more sensors and narrow the possible identities of the food item by determining the time when the data capture occurred and the location of the food item. A list of nodes based at least in part on the narrowed possible identities is generated to identify the food item and sorted based at least in part on the probability of one or more nodes corresponding to the food item.
Abstract:
Embodiments of a system and method for mobile augmented reality are provided. In certain embodiments, a first image is acquired at a device. Information corresponding to at least one second image matched with the first image is obtained from a server. A displayed image on the device is augmented with the obtained information.
Abstract:
An image retrieval program (IRP) may be used to query a collection of digital images. The IRP may include a mining module to use local and global feature descriptors to automatically rank the digital images in the collection with respect to similarity to a user-selected positive example. Each local feature descriptor may represent a portion of an image based on a division of that image into multiple portions. Each global feature descriptor may represent an image as a whole. A user interface module of the IRP may receive input that identifies an image as the positive example. The user interface module may also present images from the collection in a user interface in a ranked order with respect to similarity to the positive example, based on results of the mining module. Query concepts may be saved and reused. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Abstract:
An image recognition algorithm includes a keypoints-based comparison and a region-based color comparison. A method of identifying a target image using the algorithm includes: receiving an input at a processing device, the input including data related to the target image; performing a retrieving step including retrieving an image from an image database, and, until the image is either accepted or rejected, designating the image as a candidate image; performing an image recognition step including using the processing device to perform an image recognition algorithm on the target and candidate images in order to obtain an image recognition algorithm output; and performing a comparison step including: if the image recognition algorithm output is within a pre-selected range, accepting the candidate image as the target image; and if the image recognition algorithm output is not within the pre-selected range, rejecting the candidate image and repeating the retrieving, image recognition, and comparison steps.
Abstract:
A method and system for the megasonic cleaning of one or more substrates that reduces damage to the substrate(s) resulting from the megasonic energy. The substrates are supported in a process chamber and contacted with a cleaning solution comprising a cleaning liquid having carbon dioxide gas dissolved in the cleaning liquid in such amounts that the carbon dioxide gas is at a supersaturated concentration for the conditions within the process chamber. Megasonic energy is then transmitted to the substrate. The cleaning solution provides protection from damage resulting from the application of megasonic/acoustical energy. The invention is not limited to carbon dioxide but can be used in conjunction with any gas that, when so dissolved in a cleaning liquid, protects substrates from being damaged by the application of megasonic/acoustical energy.
Abstract:
According to an embodiment, an apparatus such as a femto base station may include a transmitter to send via a local network an information to a mobile network for informing on an active state of apparatus. The apparatus may be configured to send the information when being switched on, or on a periodical or repeated basis in a switched-on state of the apparatus. A macro base station may add the femto base station to a network configuration list. Respective methods are also provided.
