摘要: A base for a mobile X-ray imaging system comprises a carriage, a mounting structure mounted to the carriage and that movably holds an imaging device, a wheel base, and a controller. The wheel base comprises at least three wheels mounted to the carriage to be pivotable around a vertical pivot axis and to rotate around a horizontal wheel axis. At least two of the wheels form rearside wheels and at least one of the wheels forms a frontside wheel. Each rearside wheel is independently steerable in its orientation around the vertical pivot axis by a pivot actuator. Each rearside wheel is independently drivable around its horizontal wheel axis by a drive actuator to move the base relative to the floor. The controller steers and drives the rearside wheels.

摘要: A power transmitter (101) of a wireless power transfer system comprises a resonance including a transmitter coil (103) for generating a power transfer signal for wirelessly transferring power to a power receiver (105). Further, a driver (1303) generates a drive signal for the resonance circuit (201) and a message receiver (1305) is arranged to receive messages from the power receiver (105). A power loop controller (1307) implements a power control loop by adapting the power of the drive signal in response to power control messages received from the power receiver (105). However, the regulation is subject to a constraint of at least one of a current or voltage of the resonance circuit and a power of the drive signal being below a maximum limit. Further, the power transmitter (101) comprises an adapter (1309) which adapts the maximum limit in response to a load indication indicative of a loading of the power transfer signal by the power receiver (105).

摘要: A receiver that is arranged to receive protected content from a variety of transmitters, some of the transmitters imposing a maximum response time between sending a challenge to the receiver and receiving a response from the receiver while other transmitters lack such a requirement, it is necessary that receivers remain compatible with both systems. To achieve this such a receiver is arranged to receive protected content from a transmitter, the transmitter sending a challenge to the receiver and receiving a response from the receiver, the receiver comprising a processor, the processor configured to execute some or all of a challenge response generator, a communication receiver, the communication receiver configured to receive a challenge from the transmitter, and a communication transmitter, the communication transmitter configured to return a response to the transmitter, the challenge response generator being arranged to receive the challenge from the communication receiver and to generate a response and to transmit the response to the communication transmitter for return to the transmitter after a response delay, wherein the processor is configured to select in response to a challenge one of a first response and a second response: where the first response is a valid response to be provided after a first response delay and where the second response it an invalid response to be provided after a second response delay, and where the second response delay is longer than the first response delay. By providing valid responses with short response times as well as invalid responses with long response times compatibility with legacy transmitters is ensured while at the same time ensuring that receivers that lack means guarding against stalls in the challenge response procedure will be caused to reinitialize by an invalid response.

摘要: A hair-cutting unit comprises an external cutting member (10) having a shaving surface (11) provided with hair-entry openings and a skin supporting member (30) having a skin supporting surface (31) surrounding the external cutting member (10). The hair-cutting unit is further equipped with an adjustment mechanism (50) configured to adjust an exposure distance over which the shaving surface (11) protrudes relative to the skin supporting surface (31) in an exposure direction (E). The external cutting member (10) and the skin supporting member (30) are jointly pivotal about a stationary pivot axis. The adjustment mechanism (50) is designed such that the stationary character of the pivot axis can be maintained for every possible relative position of the external cutting member (10) and the skin supporting member (30), so that a well-functioning combination of the adjustment mechanism (50) and the pivoting arrangement of the respective members (10, 30) is realized.

摘要: The invention provides for a method of obtaining a composite 3D ultrasound image of a region of interest. The method includes obtaining preliminary ultrasound data from a region of interest of a subject and identifying an anatomical feature within the region of interest based on the preliminary ultrasound data. A first imaging position and one or more additional imaging positions are then determined based on the anatomical feature. A first 3D ultrasound image is obtained from the first imaging position and one or more additional 3D ultrasound images are obtained from the one or more additional imaging positions, wherein a portion of the first 3D ultrasound image overlaps a portion of the one or more additional 3D ultrasound images, thereby forming an overlapping portion comprising the anatomical feature. Spatial registration is performed between the first 3D ultrasound image and the one or more additional 3D ultrasound images based on the anatomical feature the 3D ultrasound images are then blended based on the spatial registration, thereby generating a composite 3D ultrasound image.

摘要: According to an aspect, there is provided a computer-implemented method of determining blood pressure of a subject. The method comprises receiving (101) an envelope data set for the subject. The envelope data set comprises measurements of blood flow in a body part of the subject for respective different degrees of restriction applied to the body part. Next the method comprises using (103) a set of probability density functions, PDFs, to determine respective likelihoods for obtaining the measurements in the envelope data set for different pairs of values of the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Finally, the method comprises determining (105) the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure for the subject as the pair of values of the systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure that provides the highest likelihood for the envelope data set.
