摘要: According to a first aspect of the present invention there is provided a method of implementing policy management in an IP Multimedia Subsystem, IMS, for users that are part of an organization or enterprise. The method comprises the steps of separating the users into a plurality of groups, each group being defined by a Group Document that is managed by an XML Document Management Server; for one or more of the groups, including one or more policies in the Group Document of the group; for each of the groups, including in the Group Document identities of groups to which the group is related; and when determining one or more policies that are to be applied to a user, taking account of any policies included in the Group Document of the user's group and any policies included in the Group Document of any related groups.

摘要: A first network device of a first communication network obtains a challenge, generates a first PFS parameter, obtains a first verification code for the first PFS parameter, and sends the challenge, the first PFS parameter and the first verification code to a communication device, which in turn receives the challenge, the first PFS parameter and the first verification code, forwards the challenge or a derivative thereof to an identity module, receives at least one result parameter as response from the identity module, determines, based on the result parameter, whether the first PFS parameter is authentic, and if the determination is positive generates and sends the second PFS parameter to the first network device, which in turn verifies the second PFS parameter.

Further the method includes the steps of combining all orders to reduce the retuning steps of the radio entity and retuning the radio entity in accordance with the combined orders.

摘要: The present disclosure provides systems and methods for dynamically signaling encoder capabilities of vocoders of corresponding communication nodes. In one embodiment, during a call between a first communication node and a second communication node, a control node (e.g., base station controller or mobile switching center) for the first communication node sends capability information for a voice encoder of a vocoder of the first communication node to a control node for the second communication node. As a result, the second communication node is enabled to select and request a preferred encoder mode for the voice encoder of the vocoder of the first communication node based on the capabilities of the voice encoder of the vocoder of the first communication node.

摘要: A method provides a network service in a communication network covering a geographical area for a plurality of mobile clients. A mobile client (among the plurality of mobile clients) registers with the communication network. A geomessaging register identifies a service enabler based on registration information of the mobile client. The geomessaging register sends, to the identified service enabler, contact information of the mobile client. The service enabler sends, to the geomessaging register, contact information of the service enabler. The geomessaging register then sends, to the mobile client, the contact information of the service enabler. The mobile client is then connected to the service enabler for receiving the network service. Related network nodes participate in providing such services.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed for providing a network-instructed handover of a wireless device from a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) to a Radio Access Network (RAN) of another Radio Access Technology (RAT), e.g., a 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) or 3rd Generation Partnership Project 2 (3GPP2) RAT. In one embodiment, a WLAN access node determines that a handover of a wireless device from the WLAN to another RAN of a different RAT is to be performed and transmits a handover instruction to the wireless device that instructs the wireless device to perform a handover from the WLAN to a RAN of a different RAT. In this manner, the WLAN access node is able to steer the wireless device from the WLAN to a RAN of a different RAT.
