摘要: A system is disclosed for determining process parameters for the spray application of viscous fluids, which can include an application system, which can be actuated by predefining input parameters, for a viscous fluid having at least the components of metering device, fluid valve and application nozzle. The dynamic behaviour of the application system can be dependent, with respect to the volume flow profile of the viscous fluid during the application, and also on predefinable control process parameters. Methods are disclosed for determining and applying process parameters for the spray application of viscous fluids with a system, and for controlling the spray application of an application system, which can be actuated by predefining input parameters, for a viscous fluid.

摘要: A fill system is configured to supply particulate adhesive such as pellets to an adhesive dispensing system and is configured to provide a visual indication when a supply container approaches an empty condition. The fill system includes the supply container, which has an interior space for holding pellets, and an indicator device that emits a visual indication by actuating a light source communicating with the interior space. As a result, when the level of pellets within the interior space drops to a threshold approaching the empty condition, the light energy emitted by the indicator device is visible outside the supply container. The fill system may then be refilled before the completely empty condition is reached.

摘要: An apparatus for pulsed dispensing of liquid. The apparatus includes a syringe body structure communicating with an input passage for pressurized actuation air, and communicating with an exit passage for allowing discharge of the liquid. An air input passage flow air controller is operative to increase the flow rate of the input air in accordance with a relationship that depends at least partially on a reduction of liquid volume in the syringe body structure resulting from a previous pulsed dispensing operation.

摘要: A thermoplastic material processing method and system including an integrated melting, pressurizing and dispensing unit and a regulated feed supply system to improve overall performance by only heating the amount of material needed and minimizing the time it is at raised temperatures. The system includes a compact heat exchanger consisting of a plurality of thin heater plates arranged primarily parallel and spaced closely together to form small spaces therebetween. This puts all thermoplastic material in close proximity with the heated surfaces thus improving the overall melting process. The heat exchanger can include heater plates arranged in a radial or fan orientation and a grid of thin heated fins set within a heated enclosure.

摘要: A supply system for a chambered doctor blade assembly makes possible the sequential use of water-based and non-water-based liquid inks through automated functions programmed in a PLC that controls the system. A pair of pneumatically driven diaphragm pumps serve as supply pump and return pump between the doctor blade chamber and an ink reservoir A PLC controls the pulse rate of pneumatic pressure to the pumps to control the rate of flow of the liquid into, and out of the doctor blade chamber. A capacitive sensor detects a high liquid level in the ink reservoir. The PLC is programmed to modify the pulse rate of the supply pump and return pump to maintain the liquid level in the reservoir above the drain thereof and below the maximum level.

摘要: A method of dispensing a liquid, which handles a minimum amount of liquid without wasting it and to dispense and spray an exact amount of the liquid without precipitating solid particles. The method including the steps of regulating a flow rate of liquid in a flow passage by orifices 8-1, 8-2 while letting the liquid flow through flow passages 10-1 and 10-2 between syringes 5-1 and 5-2 by applying a pressure of 0.001 MPa to 10 MPa to liquid 6 including solid particles and filled in one syringe vessel 5-1 and by setting a pressure of liquid in the other syringe 5-2 at a lower level than the pressure of liquid in the syringe 5-1 and dispensing the liquid from the flow passage by an auto dispensing valve 1.
