    Abstract: A furniture hinge includes a first fitting portion, a second fitting portion, and a hinge axis hingedly connecting the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion. The fitting portions are movable between a first position, in which the furniture parts are aligned substantially coplanar to one another, and a second position, in which the furniture parts are aligned substantially parallel to one another. A cover can at least partially cover a gap formed between the first fitting portion and the second fitting portion, and a movement of the cover can be coupled to a movement of the furniture hinge. The first fitting portion and/or the second fitting portion includes an abutment, and the cover includes a counter-abutment. Upon a relative movement of the fitting portions, the abutment abuts against the counter-abutment. The cover, due to the abutment bearing against the counter-abutment, can be moved about the hinge axis.

    Abstract: A hinge which can be included on a brace is disclosed. The hinge can include a first arm, a second arm, and a hinge plate. The first and second arms can be connected to the hinge plate for rotation about first and second axes, respectively. The hinge plate can include an internally threaded aperture. The hinge can also include a force application assembly and an adjustment assembly. The adjustment assembly can include an externally threaded lead screw engaged with the internally threaded aperture, and having a medial end connected to the force application assembly and a keyed bore. The adjustment assembly can include a drive key having a keyed shaft slidingly engaged with the keyed bore and a knob connected to the drive key such that rotation of the knob causes displacement of the force application assembly.

    Abstract: A detachable lift gate hinge cover assembly includes a bracket fixed to a vehicle roof, the bracket including an attachment member having an integrally connected coupling portion. A plate assembly includes a panel having a retention member integrally connected to the panel. The plate assembly when rotated in a first rotation direction aligns the retention member with a clearance opening of the coupling portion allowing insertion of the retention member through the clearance opening to releasably engage a hook shaped end of the retention member with the coupling portion. The plate assembly when positioned in an installed position within a roof hinge pocket of the roof at least partially covers a lift gate hinge attachment area. The plate assembly when rotated in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction releases the hook shaped end from the coupling portion to release the plate assembly from the installed position.
