Abstract:
An in-line slide dimming switch includes a switch and dimming circuit installed on a printed circuit board (which is installed in the in-line slide dimming switch) and operated with a dimmable energy-saving fluorescent bulb and a dimmable LED bulb, so that the in-line slide dimming switch may adjust the light emitting brightness of the dimmable energy-saving fluorescent bulb and the dimmable LED bulb installed onto a lamp holder. With the wire holders installed at both ends, a power cable is installed conveniently to achieve the effects of shortening the assembling procedure, and improving the assembling efficiency and the market competitiveness.
Abstract:
This specification describes axial relays. One of the axial relays includes first and second adapters positioned along an axis defining an axial direction, a contact extending along the axial direction between the first adapter and the second adapter, and a driver configured to move the contact relative to at least one of the first and second adapters between a first position and a second position by moving the contact along the axial direction or rotating the contact around the axial direction, such that a first end of the contact is conductively coupled to the first adapter and a second end of the contact is conductively coupled to the second adapter when the contact is at the first position, and the first adapter is conductively decoupled from the first end of the first adapter when the contact is at the second position.
Abstract:
A water and flame barrier button assembly is incorporated into an electrical enclosure such as a GFCI housing to provide water and flame resistant set and reset buttons. The buttons are contained within flexible sealing frames that allow one end of the buttons to extend through the top portion of the GFCI housing while the opposite end of the button is exposed within the base portion of the sealing frame. The base portion of the sealing frame attaches to the interior of the housing with the exposed button end positioned inward of the sealing frame base. The base of the sealing frame contacts the GFCI circuit board while providing a rebound force to return either the set or reset button exposed end from a position depressed and in contact with the circuit board to a position not in contact with the circuit board and returning inward of the sealing frame base.
Abstract:
A device is configured for installation on a wire in an electrical circuit comprises a housing including a first portion configured to close on a second portion. A wire passage configured to retain the wire of the electrical circuit is formed in the housing when the first portion is closed on the second portion of the housing. A blade is retained by the housing and configured to extend through the wire passage and sever the wire when the first portion is closed on the second portion of the housing. A first electrically conductive protrusion is configured to extend into the wire passage and engage a first end of the severed wire. A second electrically conductive protrusion configured to extend into the wire passage and engage a second end of the severed wire. A first terminal is electrically connected to the first electrically conductive protrusion and a second terminal is electrically connected to the second electrically conductive protrusion.
Abstract:
Accessories such as headsets for electronic devices are provided. A headset may be provided with a button controller assembly that has user-actuated buttons and a microphone. The microphone may be formed by mounting a microphone transducer on a printed circuit board. A housing may be mounted over the transducer to form a sealed cavity for the transducer. Circuitry may be mounted on portions of the printed circuit board that extend beyond the edges of the microphone housing. The button controller assembly may have dome switches. The dome switches may have a housing that encloses dome switch components and that forms a structural internal part for the button controller. The dome switch housing structure may have tabs or other engagement features that mate with corresponding engagement features in a button member. The button member may be pressed by a user to actuate a desired dome switch.
