摘要： A wrap heater is provided. The wrap heater includes a first heating sleeve and a second heating sleeve. The first heating sleeve includes a first electrically conductive heating grid, a first stiffening layer for providing rigidity, a first thermostat, and a first cover for enclosing the components in the first heating sleeve. The second heating sleeve includes a second electrically conductive heating grid, a second stiffening layer, a thermostat, and a cover enclosing the components of the second heating sleeve. An extension is provided for separating the first heating sleeve and the second heating sleeve. The wrap heater is provided for heating at least two surfaces of a food product. A method for heating food product, such as pizza, is provided.

摘要： A heated container for transport of prepared hot food has a combination of an electric heating element with an insulation layer comprising metal foil layers and fiber layers. The combination of metal foil layers, which spread the heat from the heating element, and the fiber insulation layers provides an efficient food transport container having sufficiently low power requirements to enable powering the heater element from an automotive 12 volt system while maintaining a food temperature inside the container at about 150° F.

摘要： A fixedly positioned hot plate, particularly for use with a coffee maker, has an upper surface for receiving a container of liquid to be maintained at a constant temperature. An electric heating device arranged underneath the hot plate includes a plate member movable between a first position in biased engagement with the underside of the hot plate and a second position spaced therefrom to vary the heat exchange rate therebetween. Secured to the underside of the plate member is a metallic sheathed heating having a water heating pipe soldered to the periphery thereof. A temperature sensitive element, e.g. U-shaped bimetal, thermally coupled to the heating device has a first portion connected to a downwardly dependent stud secured to the underside of the hot plate and extending freely through a bore in the plate member an a second portion secured to the plate member. The temperature sensitive element is arranged to move the plate member toward and away from the hot plate in response to the temperature of the heating device to maintain the temperature of the liquid in the container at constant optimal value independent of the amount of liquid in the container.

摘要： A food warmer comprising a heat transfer plate with a flat portion and a flange of thermally and electrically conductive material to which at least one pill of positive temperature coefficient of resistance material is conductively secured and an electrically insulative base with a trough for receiving the rolled edge of the heat transfer plate. The pill is provided with an electrically conductive coating on its two opposite faces. An electrically conductive spring is mounted in the base adapted to make contact with one surface of the electrically conductive coating of the pill. Electrical connection is made to the heat transfer plate and to the spring to provide a current path through the pill upon positioning and sealing the rolled edge with a silicon rubber sealing compound thereby providing proper contact force and alignment between the spring and the conductive coating of the pill along with a water tight seal.
