    摘要: An elastic couple barring apparatus (i.e., an elastic couple rotor turning gear) is a special tool to drive a rotor by elastic couple for adjusting a shafting center of a vertical hydroelectric generating set and other rotating devices. The elastic couple rotor turning gear is characterized in that an elastic support is mounted on a frame of the driven device, a casing being connected to the elastic support, a casing cover being firmly fixed on the casing, a speed reducer and an electric motor being installed on the cover, an output shaft of the speed reducer extending into the casing under the casing cover, the output shaft having a pinion gear mounted thereon and meshed with a gear body of a bull gear positioned in the casing, the bull gear being connected to a shaft coupling through parallel keys via a key seat or an upright post, and the shaft coupling being fixed on a rotor of the driven device. The advantages of the invention is that the structure is more reasonable, the concentricity may be adjusted more conveniently, the elastic connection makes operation easy and vibration small, deformation caused by suspending arms is eliminated, and operation's accuracy and precision are improved because the gears may be meshed and operated smoothly.

The turbine has a larger axial runner wheel and a reshaped runner ring peripherally extending around the runner wheel. A draft tube with a larger elbow section extends on a downstream side of the runner ring. A water supply port extends around a rotation axis of the runner wheel on an upstream side of the runner ring, and is adapted to produce a centripetal water flow swirling around the rotation axis of the runner wheel. A turning passageway extends between the water supply port and the runner ring, and is adapted to guide and redirect the centripetal water flow in a substantially axial direction of the runner wheel. An axial distributor extends between the turning passageway and the runner ring.

A preferred embodiment is driven by a hydraulic pump geared mechanically to a motor vehicle engine and drives a compressor for supercharging the engine.

The grinder mechanism (104) includes components for selectively adjusting horizontal and vertical positioning of the mechanism (104). The horizontal and vertical positioning components can also be employed with other mechanisms for performing repairing and resurfacing operations.

    摘要: A ceramic coated abrasion resistant member and method of making are described in which a plurality of thin plates of polycrystalline ceramic material of small size, for example, a square plate measuring 1.0 inch by 1.0 inch having a thickness less than 0.200 inch are bonded to a thicker substrate base member with a uniform layer of organic adhesive bonding material. The bonding material includes a thermosetting organic plastic adhesive and a coupling agent which forms covalent chemical bonds with the ceramic plates, base member and plastic adhesive. An organosilane, such as .gamma.-aminopropyl trimethoxy silane, may be used as the coupling agent. The ceramic material may be selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon carbide, silicon nitride, and spinel ceramic materials. The substrate member is preferably metal, such as steel and the plastic adhesive may be an epoxy resin. The ceramic coated abrasion resistant member may be an impeller blade such as the blades of a high speed fan for conveying coal dust or other abrasive particulate material through a conduit, or the blades of a pump impeller for pumping abrasive liquid. In the process for making the abrasion resistant member, the substrate base member and the ceramic plates are coated on the surfaces to be bonded with a thin layer of coupling agent of about one molecule thickness before they are bonded together with the thermosetting organic plastic adhesive.
