    摘要: The present invention relates to a device at distillers adapted to distil solvents for recovery of pure solvent from impure solvent, said solvent (2) being used e.g. for washing away residues of paint from spray guns. The distiller (1) comprises an outer container (5) with a boiling chamber (8) which at the top has an opening (9) which can be tightly closed by means of a cover (10) and a flexible inner container (13) is provided in the boiling chamber (8), said flexible inner container (13) containing impure solvent (2) to be distilled. A pipe means (20) is placed beside the flexible inner container (13) in order to allow solvent steam (7a), which is generated by boiling solvent in a lower space (19) beneath the flexible inner container (13), to pass from said lower space (19) into an upper space (16) having an outlet (17) and located above the flexible inner container (13) for preventing said solvent steam (7a) from lifting the flexible inner container (13) in the boiling chamber (8).

The apparatus and method include a first distillation flask which are maintained under a substantial vacuum. The first distillation flask includes a first column with a column packing means and a reflux means to retard loss of H.sub.2 SO.sub.4 in the first distillation. The second distillation flask boils off substantially pure H.sub.2 SO.sub.4 through a column which is coupled to a condenser which condenses substantially pure H.sub.2 SO.sub.4.

    摘要: An evaporator includes heating elements which are part of a thin skin providing the evaporator vessel wall, supporting the skin for internal and external pressure, and a top portion of the vessel. A liquor distributing plate is supported on the heating elements, with a liquor inlet donut-shaped conduit disposed above the liquor distributing plate. The heating elements are radially disposed within the vessel, and are supported at the bottom by a ring which engages the bottoms of the heating elements, and a vertical axis tube extending from the vessel bottom to the ring, the tube having a plurality of through-extending openings formed in it. The vapor outlet for the vessel is concentric with the heating elements and the liquor distributing perforated plate. Heating fluid (e.g. steam) is introduced into the interior volumes of the heating elements adjacent the tops thereof, and a vent is provided adjacent the bottoms.

    摘要: Heat exchange takes place between two fluids, namely, mineralized aqueous fluid containing dissolved or dispersed solids or mineral salts and a second fluid, in heat exchange apparatus wherein the surfaces to be contacted by the mineralized aqueous fluid are preferentially oil wettable and substantially zero water adsorbent and are continuously wetted with an organic liquid (oil) which is not permanently miscible with the aqueous fluid being treated, whereby adherence of solids or mineral salts contained in the aqueous fluid or solution is prevented. The preferentially oil wettable and substantially zero water adsorbent contacted surfaces are preferably fluorocarbon polymers such as FEP, however, parylene surfaces are effective and substantially zero water adsorbent but are not as satisfactory as fluorocarbon polymers since parylene coatings on metal are not as permanent as FEP coatings and tend to blister under certain conditions.The apparatus and method herein described are suitable for use in the treatment of hot geothermal fluids as well as for evaporating brines.
