摘要: A fuel tank in a vehicle. The fuel tank includes a protective outer shell, an inner shell and a crush sleeve. The protective outer shell defines an outer tank. The inner shell defines an inner tank which holds fuel. The inner shell is housed in the outer shell and is isolated from the outer shell by a space. The crush sleeve is provided in the space between the outer shell and the inner shell. The crush sleeve supports the inner shell and maintains the inner shell in position relative to the outer shell. Wherein during an impact to the vehicle, the force of the impact causes the outer shell and the crush sleeve to deform and the inner shell to move relative to the outer shell.

摘要: A self-propelled construction machine, comprises a machine frame, on which a working unit is arranged, and comprises a drive unit for driving the working unit. An additive, in particular a urea solution for operating an exhaust gas treatment system, is provided in an operating material tank which is integrated in the fuel tank or water tank of the construction machine. The integration of the operating material tank in the fuel tank or water tank does not necessitate any modifications to the machine frame. The dimensions of the construction machine can also remain unchanged, since the fuel tank does not take up any extra space on the machine frame if the dimensions of the fuel tank or water tank are maintained.

摘要: A selective fuel regulator includes: a fuel tank having therein a cold-area-purpose fuel storage unit and a general-purpose fuel storage unit, a cold-area-purpose fuel pipe connected to the cold-area-purpose fuel storage unit, and a general-purpose fuel pipe connected to the general-purpose fuel storage unit; a body installed in the fuel tank, the body having therein a receiving space; a plurality of pipes, one end of each pipe located in the fuel tank, and the other end of each pipe located in the receiving space in order to supply fuel from the fuel tank to an engine or to collect residual fuel from the engine; a fuel port, one end of the fuel port located in the receiving space, and the other end of the fuel port located outside the body in order to connect the plurality of pipes to a fuel line installed outside the fuel tank; and a connector located between the one end of the fuel port and the respective other ends of the plurality of pipes so as to slide between the cold-area-purpose fuel pipe and the general-purpose fuel pipe for selectively supplying fuel from the cold-area-purpose fuel storage unit or from the general-purpose fuel storage unit to the engine.

The tie assembly includes an elongate member, for example a wire or cable, and a plurality of attachment devices fixed to an inner surface of the tank wall. The elongate member includes a plurality of spaced part points along its length, each of the spaced apart points being fixed to a respective attachment device such that the tie assembly resists outward deformation of the tank wall.

The system and attendant assembly includes a mounting assembly structured for containment and support of a primary fuel tank and an auxiliary fuel tank. The mounting assembly is disposed on a mounting area laterally adjacent between the two tires on a side of the truck, wherein the mounting assembly and mounting area are cooperatively disposed and structured to facilitate storage of the alternate fuel and operative communication and distribution thereof with the powering operations of the vehicle.

摘要: Air-ground vehicle fuel tank configurations and associated features are described that can be incorporated in the structural design of a vehicle in ways that improve both the ground mobility and flight capability of the vehicle. A vehicle frame may include a fuel tank with a main tank and two or more auxiliary tanks. The main tank may be disposed along the centerline of the vehicle, and the auxiliary tanks may extend upward and outward from the main tank, for example forming a “V” shape when viewed from the front. The auxiliary tanks may be substantially arc-shaped, when viewed from the side of the vehicle, and may be attached to the main tank at each end of the arc-shape. Each of the auxiliary tanks may include an attachment mechanism configured to attach to an airfoil suspension at or near an apex of the auxiliary tanks.

摘要: A non-metallic transfer fuel tank, configured for placement in a spare tire location on a vehicle, includes a rigid non-metallic tank body with a plurality of cutouts formed in the tank body. A fill neck is coupled to the tank body along with a fuel line connector which connects the tank to the vehicle's existing fuel system. A mounting neck formed in the tank body contains a mounting rod. The mounting rod is coupled to a base plate which is below the tank body. The mounting rod is also coupled to a mounting plate which is located above the tank body. The mounting plate is further configured to couple in a winch location in the spare tire location on the vehicle using the same mounting method as was used to mount the spare tire winch.
