摘要： A frozen or semi-frozen ingredient is pre-packed in a drinks vessel at a packing location. The pre-packed drinks vessel is then transported to a dispensing location remote from said packing location. Liquid is poured into the drinks vessel at said dispensing location and blended with the frozen or semi-frozen ingredient. The drinks vessel defines a chamber in which the frozen or semi-frozen ingredient is packed at the packing location, the chamber having a base and a side wall extending up from the base. The frozen or semi-frozen ingredient is packed in said chamber in such a manner as to define a spacing between said frozen or semi-frozen ingredient and said side wall, into which the liquid ingredient may flow when added at the dispensing location.

The composite dairy product comprises a container comprising at least one transparent portion, and wherein a viscous component is visible as a substantially discontinuous stretch on said transparent portion of the container.

摘要： A frozen ice cream pastry that includes the tip or closed end section of a conical or cylindrical-shaped ice cream cone, respectively, that is filled with ice cream. In the preferred embodiment, the top surface of the ice cream is flat with the top edge of the cone. The cone can be made of cake or waffle ingredients. The pastry may or may not be covered with a chocolate layer. In one embodiment, the pastry is sold in a protective cardboard container that includes an inner protective carrier with a plurality of cone-shaped cutouts formed therein. The pastry is then placed into a cutout and individually removed from the carrier when desired. In another embodiment, a small serving of pastries are sold in an air filled bag which when removed from the freezer are consumed. In still another embodiment, a plurality of air filled bags each filled with one serving of pastries are sold and distributed in a large container which may be stored in the freezer.

摘要： A process for packaging a food product such as soft ice-cream, frozen yogurt or the like in a single-serving package comprises a continuous in-line system in which a pot (9) is formed in a deformable bottom web (2) of plastics material and a lid (12) with dispensing aperture (14) is formed in a top web (4) of plastics material. Food product is filled into the formed pot and the webs are brought together in register with a lid aligned over the mouth of the pot. The lid is sealed to the pot at a sealing station and the aperture in the lid is covered and sealed with a peel-off tab or label (16). To dispense the product for consumption, the tab is removed and the product is extruded by pressing down on the deformable pot to collapse it, forcing the product through the aperture in the lid. To facilitate this, at least a portion of the lid is formed so as to be sufficiently rigid as to provide a bearing surface toward which the pot can be collapsed. In an alternative arrangement, the bearing surface can be provided by a rigid insert (34) placed in the package between the food product and the lid and in this case the lid may be formed from a flimsy material.
