摘要： An ice-cream vending machine with an insulated and refrigerated bottom half housing containing stacks of pre-portioned ice-cream supported by a plurality of circular platforms and a top half housing containing radially deposed topping storage bins, a topping retrieval mechanism, a centrally located stacked cup storage tube and a centrally located cup holding platform. The topping retrieval mechanism with a topping receiving cup is attached to a horizontally disposed telescoping arm The telescoping arm engages a radially disposed drive mechanism that allows the topping receiving cup to access a selected bin and deliver the topping to a portion of ice-cream. The ice-cream portions are retrieved one at a time from the refrigerated bottom half housing and delivered via an ice-cream delivery mechanism to a centrally located ice-cream cup.

摘要： Systems and methods of producing a frozen food product include mixing ingredients with a liquefied gas, e.g. liquid nitrogen. The texture and quality of the food product may be determined by sensing temperature or viscosity, and controlling the rate at which the liquefied gas flows into the mixture, i.e. dosing. This functionality may be achieved using one or more scoops, the position of which may be controlled by actuators. The dosing may be controlled by a program that receives input from one or more sensors, and the program may be responsive to input of the type or amount of ingredients being mixed. In addition, the dosing may be controlled by a human being through a user interface, e.g. by pushing a ‘dose’ button.

摘要： An apparatus for loading material into a stent strut can comprise a cover sleeve. The cover sleeve is elastic so that it can reduce in diameter so as to press against the stent strut, and expand in diameter so as to be spaced apart from the stent strut. The stent strut can include a lumen into which material is injected. When pressed against the stent strut, the cover sleeve seals side openings to the lumen and prevents injected material from leaking out of the side openings during the injection process.

摘要： The present invention provides an apparatus for the production of a composite frozen product in a container, the product being comprised of a frozen confection within an edible casing, wherein the apparatus comprises a forming element having an external surface corresponding to the internal shape of the container, the forming element being further characterised by a passage running through the forming element from an upper opening to a lower opening, the apparatus further comprising means for removing material from the passage of the forming element. The invention also provides a process for the production of a composite frozen product in a container, the product being comprised of a frozen confection within an edible casing, the process comprising the steps of: at least partially filling the container with particles of a casing material having an average diameter of at most 3 mm; inserting a forming element into the container, the forming element having an external surface corresponding to the internal shape of the container, and being further characterised by a passage running through the forming element from an upper opening to a lower opening; removing excess casing material from the passage of the forming element; removing the forming element; and then at least partially filling the container with a frozen confection.
