    摘要： A centrifugal clutch has a drive plate and a hub to receive a drive shaft. A pair of oppositely arranged weights at their one ends are pivotally mounted upon said plate with their opposite ends biased inwardly. Their outer edges are arcuate. A drum with friction lining loosely surrounds the plate and weights and includes an axial hub journalled on and in cooperating registry with the plate hub. A flanged plug is anchored in one hub and retainingly engages the other hub to prevent relative end-wise movements. A cap overlies the plug and the ends of the hubs and is secured thereto to seal off the interior of the clutch from oil, dirt and moisture.

    摘要： A centrifugal clutch for transmitting rotary motion from a first rotating shaft to a second rotatable member, only when the first rotating shaft has an angular speed of a value between predetermined upper and lower angular speeds, including a first circular plate fixed to the rotating shaft. A pair of spring biased members having shoulders formed on the outer edges thereof are pivoted to the circular plate and are adapted to move outwardly during rotation at a sufficient angular speed. The first circular plate is received by four arcuate shoes radially slidably mounted on a second circular plate and include inwardly extending projections formed thereon adapted to engage the shoulders. After rotational speed increases beyond a predetermined upper limit, the shoes move outwardly relative to the plate and disengage the clutch.

    摘要： An actuator primarily activated by transversal acceleration arising from rotational acceleration of a rotatable object is presented. The object is rotatable in a plane of rotation (P) about an object pivot point in the plane of rotation (P). The actuator comprises at least two bodies adapted to be rotatably, in or parallel to the plane of rotation (P), coupled to the object at a body pivot point of each body. The body pivot point and/or the body is arranged such that a mass distribution of the body is nonuniform about the body pivot point. Due to said nonuniform mass distribution about the body pivot point, the actuator is configured to transition to an activated state, in response to rotational acceleration of the object, by said at least two bodies rotating about their respective body pivot points in a direction opposite to a direction of said rotational acceleration of the object.

    摘要： A retainer of a clutch device holds a weight held so as to be slidable in a substantially radial direction around a rotation axis. A push lever swings in response to a sliding movement of the weight, and, upon rotation, applies a centrifugal force to the weight to cause the weight to slide in an outer circumferential direction and brings an abutting end of the push lever into abutment with a pressure plate of the clutch device to apply a predetermined load to the pressure plate. The retainer includes a stopper to limit a movable range of the weight. At least the abutting end of the push lever is formed of an elastically deformable member.

    摘要： A flywheel is attached to a shaft of a turbine. As the shaft rotates, the flywheel swings outwards away from the shaft and regulates the angular velocity of the rotating shaft. In an embodiment, there are multiple flywheels attached to the shaft. In another embodiment there is a first flywheel that controls a second flywheel. In another embodiment, the flywheel has adjustable or centrifugal displacement of counterbalanced masses for effective rotational diameter with effective rotational balance. In another embodiment, a small pilot centrifugal displacement flywheel may control a clutch by rotational velocity and may include a hysteresis control. An example of a clutch may limit that degree to which the arms of the flywheel may be extended and/or retracted. In another embodiment, a small pilot centrifugal displacement flywheel controls the hysteresis of a centrifugal flywheel displacement.
