    摘要: A ball nut assembly comprises a spindle having a longitudinal axis, a ball nut, and bearing elements supporting the ball nut on the spindle. First, second, third, and fourth ball nut deflectors are between the ball nut and the spindle. First, second, and third planes extend parallel to the axis. The first and fourth ball nut deflectors are in the first plane, the second ball nut deflector is in the second plane, the third ball nut deflector is in the third plane. Furthermore, the second and third ball nut deflectors are on opposite sides of the first plane. A first acute angle is between the first and second planes and a second acute angle is between the first and third planes.

    摘要: The invention relates to an electro-mechanical brake with an actuator (5) for pressing at least one brake pad (3, 4) against a rotating friction surface. The actuator (5) comprises an electric motor (7) and a first transmission for converting a rotary motion of the electric motor (7) into a translational motion of the at least one brake pad (3, 4) for activating or releasing the electromechanical brake. Furthermore, the actuator (5) comprises a second transmission for converting a rotary motion of the same electric motor (7) into a further translational motion of the at least one brake pad (3, 4) to compensate for a wear of the at least one brake pad (3, 4), the first transmission and the second transmission being coupled so that the translational motion of the at least one brake pad (3, 4) caused by the first transmission and the further translational motion of the at least one brake pad (3, 4) caused by the second transmission add up to a resulting translation of the at least one brake pad (3, 4).

    摘要: The invention relates to an improved plunger assembly for a vehicle brake system. The plunger assembly is operable as a pressure source to control brake fluid pressure supplied to one or more wheel brakes. The plunger assembly comprises a housing defining a cylinder; a reversible motor supported by the housing and having a rotor; and a linear actuator such as a ball screw/nut mechanism driven by the motor. A plunger head is mounted in the cylinder and driven by the linear actuator in first and second opposite directions. Improvements include the plunger assembly engage at least one seal that defines a portion of a pressurized chamber. An end cap covers the projecting end of the cylinder and is secured to the housing to define a fluid passageway between the end of the cylinder and at least one fluid passageway provided in the housing block.

    摘要: An expanding device for actuating one of the brake shoes of a drum brake includes a body of revolution and transmission bodies actuated by the body of revolution via ball track ramps. A spacer body is located between two partial bodies of the body of revolution, the spacer body guided by an adjustment spring keeping the partial bodies at the respectively reached distance. The spacer body is screwed onto a pin on the first partial body. A readjustment nut ensures that, when the two partial bodies are pushed apart, the spacer body rotates on the pin and moves away from a supporting surface on a partition of the second partial body. Upon renewed actuation of the brakes, the readjustment nut is guided such that the spacer body bears against the second partial body, but takes up a different position on the pin, the position corresponding to the air clearance readjustment.
