    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for escape detection and mitigation for aquaculture. In some implementations, a method includes obtaining one or more images that depict one or more fish within an enclosure; generating, as a result of providing the one or more images to multiple detection models, a value that reflects a quantity of fish that are depicted in the images that are likely a member of each different type of fish; detecting an error condition relating to a possible opening of the enclosure based at least on the value; and in response to detecting the error condition relating to the possible opening of the enclosure, initiating one or more mitigation actions relating to the possible opening.

    Abstract: Elements to be provided for display with an instance of content can be determined dynamically based upon features of those elements. The actions or behavior of a user can be stored over time, and used to determine element features that are of interest to the user for various categories of content. In order to obtain enough data for multiple categories, clustering of users can be performed where users with similar behaviors are grouped together, and their preferences for features determined for various categories. When a request for content is received, a category and user identity can be determined for the request, which is used to determine the appropriate cluster. The feature preferences for that cluster can then be used to select elements (e.g., images, audio, or video) to present with the content based at least in part upon the relevant features of those elements.

    Abstract: Detection of typed and/or pasted text, caret tracking, and active element detection for a computing system are disclosed. The location on the screen associated with a computing system where the user has been typing or pasting text, potentially including hot keys or other keys that do not cause visible characters to appear, can be identified and the physical position on the screen where typing or pasting occurred can be provided based on the current resolution of where one or more characters appeared, where the cursor was blinking, or both. This can be done by identifying locations on the screen where changes occurred and performing text recognition and/or caret detection on these locations. The physical position of the typing or pasting activity allows determination of an active or focused element in an application displayed on the screen.
