摘要: The present invention includes processes and methods of preparing the hybrid polymer latex for coating composition that can be used for traffic markings, transportation and signages. The process may comprise preparing an initial monomer mix pre-emulsion of unsaturated organic compounds, preparing an initial inorganic dispersion feed comprising modified inorganic component, preparing an initiator solution, and adding at least 2 parts per 100 parts polymer by weight of polyfunctional amines to result in final hybrid polymer latex. The coating composition obtained by the disclosed process provides superior qualities of moisture proofing, water repellence and early rain resistance to enhance durability of the product.

摘要: The present disclosure provides various aspects for mobile and automated processing utilizing additive manufacturing and the methods for their utilization. In some examples, discrete material formats for use in an Additive Manufacturing Array are disclosed. Methods of using the additive manufacturing robot, discrete materials, and the roadways produced with the additive manufacturing robot are provided. A combined function Addibot, with Additive Manufacturing capabilities, cleaning capabilities, line painting capabilities and seal coating capabilities which may be used in concert with a camera equipped aerial drone for design and characterization function is described.

摘要: A pavement striping devices for heating and applying thermoplastic material to a road surface is provided. The pavement striping device includes of: a hopper for holding a supply of particulate thermoplastic marking material in a non-molten state, an air or oil-heat transfer medium melting kettle having a series of coaxial conveyored or unconveyored conduits within, a plastic extruder for transporting the thermoplastic particulate from the hopper to the series of coaxial conveyored or unconveyored conduits with the air or oil-heat transfer medium melting kettle, a heating mechanism for heating the air or oil-heat transfer medium melting kettle and the plastic extruder to a temperature suitable for melting thermoplastic, and a means for driving the stream of molten thermoplastic through the series of coaxial conveyored or unconveyored conduits to a sprayer or extrusion die, all of which form a means by which the molten thermoplastic is directed to the pavement surface.

摘要: A hot applied thermoplastic pavement composition and method of using wherein the composition comprises a modified polyamide resin in the range of between 3 and 10 percent by weight, wherein the composition contains rosin-modified esters, a copolymer, 30-70 percent by weight of a glass bead intermix, a range of between 1 and 15 percent by weight of either white or yellow pigment, the balance of the composition being selected from the group consisting of: one or more plasticizers, inorganic fillers, waxes, antioxidants and light stabilizers.

摘要: A quick disconnect handle assembly includes a handle and a handle mount. The handle includes a shaft, a spring, and a pin at or near an end of the shaft and configured to restrain movement of the spring in a first direction. The handle mount includes a body having a first end and second end opposite the first end, a passageway through the body, and a first recess configured to receive the pin and lock the handle in the handle mount. The passageway has an inlet at the first end and an outlet at the second end and has a cross-sectional shape substantially the same as a cross-sectional shape of the shaft at the location of the pin, such that the shaft including the pin can be received in the passageway. The first recess opens at the outlet and extends longitudinally toward the inlet of the handle mount body.

摘要: A GPS-based control system for positioning a nozzle projection onto a predetermined roadway mark path includes a vehicle having an attached paint carriage which is laterally movable with respect to the vehicle, a first GPS antenna, a first GPS receiver responsive to the first GPS antenna, a first signal processor for determining the geographical location of the first GPS antenna, a linear motion and position sensor, a GPS location processor for determining the absolute GPS location of the paint carriage, a coordinate transform processor for transforming the absolute GPS location of the paint carriage into a location in a coordinate system other than GPS, a comparator for comparing the location of the paint carriage in the other coordinate system to a desired roadway mark path according to the other coordinate system, and a control system for positioning the nozzle projection onto the roadway mark path.
