The electronic apparatus according to an embodiment includes a main circuit unit, a power source supplier configured to generate power, and supply the generated power to the main circuit unit, and a surge protector disposed between the main circuit unit and the power source supplier, the surge protector being configured to, based on a surge occurring from the power source supplier, perform a clamping operation on power output from the power source supplier at a first voltage level, wherein the power source supplier is further configured to, based on the clamping operation of the surge protector at the first voltage level being stopped, perform a clamping operation on the generated power at a second voltage level greater than the first voltage level.

    摘要: A driver is provided for driving at least two sets of solid state lighting elements. A switched capacitor power converter is provided, and a switch arrangement is used for selectively connecting a first set and a second set of solid state lighting elements in series connection at the output of the power converter or connecting the first set of solid state lighting elements at the output of the power converter without the second set of solid state lighting elements. A first duty cycle of the switched capacitor power converter and a second duty cycle control of the switch arrangement are both controlled.
    In this driver design, a switched capacitor power converter and a switch arrangement are independently controlled using a duty cycle approach. The switched capacitor power converter is used to provide current control, and the switch arrangement is used to control whether the second set of lighting elements is connected to the output or not.

    摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a constant-voltage circuit that outputs a constant voltage and a constant-current circuit. The constant-current circuit includes a first transistor. A voltage input as an input voltage to a first gate electrode of the first transistor is equal to the node voltage at an intermediate node in a connection path between the output of the constant-voltage circuit and an external resistor. A source region of the first transistor is connected to a fixed power supply, and a drain region of the first transistor is connected to the external power supply via a load. In the first transistor, a constant current can be made to flow between the source region and the drain region based on the input voltage. A constant-current drive system in which the semiconductor integrated circuit and the external resistor have been mounted on a circuit board is also constructed.

    摘要: The invention provides a control method for sets of series-parallel-connected LEDs via a single wire. Step 1: providing an LED circuit including a control module and a light-emitting module. The light-emitting module includes LED strings connected to one another in parallel. Each of the LED strings includes a plurality of LED units connected in series to one another, and at least one counter comprising a counter start time different from that of another. Step 2: sending a setting signal by the control module, and allocating one identification code obtained sequentially in time to one of the LED string according to the different counter start times of the LED strings. Step 3: sending a designation signal to the light-emitting module by the control module, such that the LED string with the corresponding identification value is selected and independently controlled by the control module.
