Abstract:
The invention relates to kinase inhibitor ligands and polyligands. In particular, the invention relates to ligands and polyligands that modulate ERK activity. The ligands and polyligands are utilized as research tools or as therapeutics. The invention includes linkage of the ligands and polyligands to a cellular localization signal, epitope tag and/or a reporter. The invention also includes polynucleotides encoding the ligands and polyligands.
Abstract:
A method to determine a distribution profile of an element in a film. The method comprises exciting an electron energy of an element deposited in a first film, obtaining a first spectrum associating with the electron energy, and removing a background spectrum from the first spectrum. Removing the background value generates a processed spectrum. The method further includes matching the processed spectrum to a simulated spectrum with a known simulated distribution profile for the element in a film comparable to the first film. A distribution profile is obtained for the element in the first film based on the matching of the processed spectrum to a simulated spectrum selected from the set of simulated spectra.

The invention relates to kinase ligands and polyligands. In particular, the invention relates to ligands, homopolyligands, and heteropolyligands that modulate mTOR activity. The ligands and polyligands are utilized as research tools or as therapeutics. The invention includes linkage of the ligands and polyligands to a cellular localization signal, epitope tag and/or a reporter. The invention also includes polynucleotides encoding the ligands and polyligands.
Abstract:
A system for secure information storage and delivery includes a vault repository that includes a secure vault associated with a user, wherein the secure vault is associated with a service level including at least one of a data type or a data size limit associated with the secure vault, the secure vault being adapted to receive and at least one data entry and securely store the at least one data entry if the at least one of a size or a type of the at least one data entry is consistent with the service level. A mobile vault server coupled to the vault repository creates a mobile vault on a mobile device based on the secure vault and is capable of authenticating the mobile device based on user authentication information. The mobile vault server includes a mobile device handler that communicates with the mobile device. A synchronization utility determines whether the at least one data entry on the secure vault is transferable to or storable on the mobile vault based on at least one of the size or the type of the at least one data entry and transfers the at least one data entry from the secure vault to a corresponding data entry on the mobile vault if the at least one data entry on the secure vault is determined to be transferable to or storable on the mobile vault.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to image rejection calibration in a radio frequency (RF) receiver. In one embodiment, the receiver includes a receiver front-end and an image rejection calibration system. The image rejection calibration system provides a first test signal to an RF input of the receiver front-end, and obtains first measurements of a quadrature output signal output from the receiver front-end while the first test signal is applied to the RF input. The image rejection calibration system then applies a second test signal to the RF input of the receiver front-end that is approximately 90 degrees out-of-phase with the first test signal, and obtains second measurements of the quadrature output signal while the second test signal is applied to the RF input. Based on the first and second measurements, the image rejection calibration system determines an amplitude error and a phase error of the receiver front-end.

Abstract:
A disc brake rotor having a central hat portion for coupling a rotor to a vehicle wheel for rotation about a central axis, an inboard brakeplate for receiving a first friction surface and an outboard brakeplate for receiving a second friction surface. A plurality of L-shaped rib members extends from the hat for coupling the inboard brakeplate to the hat and a second plurality of L-shaped members radially extend from the hat for coupling the outboard brakeplate to the hat. First plurality of ribs is longer than the second plurality of ribs. The second set L-shaped members is located intermediate of the edges of the inboard and outboard pluralities to enhance the heat transfer of the braking operation.

Abstract:
A method of manufacturing a corner module assembly wherein a wheel hub is attached to the knuckle and the knuckle is held by a clamping force applied through locator pads and thereafter a radial mounting surface and first and second bosses on the knuckle are machined into parallel alignment with the bases of the locator pads. After a rotor is fixed against the machined radial mounting flange, the first and second braking surfaces on the rotor finished machined, if necessary, into the same parallel alignment with the bases such that first and second friction member retained in a caliper are located in parallel alignment with the first and second braking surfaces when the caliper that is attached to the first and second bosses on the knuckle and finally attachments surfaces on the knuckle are machined. This sequentially machining substantially eliminates assembly tolerances of the corner module assembly.
