    Abstract: Embodiments pertain to a non-wearable monitoring system for monitoring activity of a human in a scene including a floor. The system may comprise a plurality of remote ranging emitters which are configured to emit ranging energy towards the scene. At least one first and at least one second emitter of the plurality of emitters are arranged to cover different height sections of the scene. The plurality of remote ranging emitters is arranged to obtain, based on the emitted ranging energy, reflections. The system further comprises a plurality of sensors which are configured to receive the reflections and to convert the reflections into electronic signals to generate reflection-based data. The system is configured to determine based on the reflection-based data, a posture and/or activity of the human in the scene.

    Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein relate to a computerized method of selecting an optimal medication for a patient, comprising: providing a user with communication access to a central server having in memory a database of a rule set associated with a list of medications available, the rules set numerically ranking the suitability of a medication for a patient; allowing upload of at least a portion of an electronic medical record for an identified patient; allowing input of a patient diagnosis, and receiving a search request for a suitable treatment medication; comparing the rules set, with the uploaded electronic medical record; determining (e.g., scoring and calculating) the suitability of medications from the list of medications available; providing a displayable list of medications suited for the patient, wherein the list is ranked according to the preference of the medications for the patient.

    Abstract: According to some embodiments there is provided an anastomosis device configured to reduce leakage, comprising: a first set of rings sized to be positioned at a first tissue wall; a second set of rings sized to be positioned at a second tissue wall adjacent the first tissue wall; and an element configured to draw the ring sets towards each other; wherein each set of rings comprises an inner ring, an outer ring, and a coupling for aligning the inner and outer rings with respect to each other; wherein the inner ring applies a first pressure onto the tissue wall which is sufficient to gradually form a passage between the first and second tissue walls; and the outer ring applies a second pressure onto the tissue wall, the second pressure applied radially outwardly relative to the first pressure, the second pressure sufficient to reduce leakage in a vicinity of the passage.
