摘要： Isolated mogroside and mogrol biosynthetic pathway enzyme polypeptides useful in mogroside biosynthesis are provided. Mogroside biosynthetic pathway enzymes of the invention include squalene epoxidase (SE), epoxy hydratase (EH), cytochrome p450 (Cyp), cucurbitadienol synthase (CDS) and udp-glucosyl-transferase (UGT), Also provided are methods of producing a mogroside using the isolated mogroside and mogrol biosynthetic enzyme polypeptides, the methods comprising contacting a mogrol and/or a glycosylated mogrol (mogroside) with at least one UDP glucose glucosyl transferase (UGT) enzyme polypeptide of the invention catalyzing glucosylation of the mogrol and/or the glucosylated mogrol to produce a mogroside with an additional glucosyl moietie(s), thereby producing the mogroside. Alternatively or additionally provided is a method of synthesizing a mogrol, the method comprising contacting a mogrol precursor substrate with one or more mogrol biosynthetic pathway enzyme polypeptides as described herein catalyzing mogrol synthesis from the mogrol precursor substrate, thereby synthesizing the mogrol.

摘要： Apparatus and method for detecting a dissolved gaseous impurity in an aqueous environment, comprises a tube for isolating liquid surface, or a sampler for obtaining a liquid sample from the aqueous environment, a vacuum pump located to exert a vacuum, leaving the surface to evaporate into the vacuum; and a holding compartment for holding evaporated gas which may then be analyzed using electrochemical or spectroscopic methods. The apparatus is useful for detecting levels of ammonia in fish ponds or indeed any impurity that may be dissolved in the water.

摘要： A method of treating a malignant disease in a subject in need thereof is provided. The method comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of a first liquid chromatography fraction of a cannabis extract comprising at least 75% tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA), and a therapeutically effective amount of a second liquid chromatography fraction of a cannabis extract comprising at least 75% cannabigerolic acid (CBGA), wherein the first liquid chromatography fraction comprises cannabis derived active ingredients other than the THCA, and the second liquid chromatography fraction comprises cannabis derived active ingredients other than the CBGA, thereby treating the malignant disease in the subject.

摘要： A system for monitoring individual food intake of a livestock animal includes a calibration system configured to measure weight or volume of food intake of an animal over a pre-defined period of time and to calibrate a mathematical model for the animal based on the measure, a tracking system configured track animal eating behavior at times other than the pre-defined period of time and a computing system. The pre-defined period of time is less than three weeks. The mathematical model relates eating behavior of the animal and defined physiological parameters of the animal with food intake. The computing system determines food intake of the animal over a lactation period based on the mathematical model for the animal as calibrated and the eating behavior at the times other than the pre-defined period of time.
