摘要： A system and method are provided for determining intravenous blood levels of a target compound contained in a blood vessel of a patient. The method includes the operation of detecting concentrations of the target compound within a patient's blood using a sensor device configured to optically test blood at a location within the blood vessel. Another operation is calculating a measured amount of a therapeutic compound to administer into the patient's bloodstream based on the concentrations of the target compound in the blood. The measured amount of therapeutic compound may then be pumped through the catheter into the patient's blood.

Such structures facilitate myringotomy, tympanostomy tube placement, and the like, under local anesthesia in a doctor's office.

摘要： An impact tool control method and apparatus and an impact tool using the same. Pulses of torque applied to a fastener by the impact tool are measured. The duration and magnitude of the torque pulse are subtracted from a torque signal and the resulting difference is integrated over time to obtain a fastener angular velocity signal. The angular velocity signal is integrated over time to obtain a displacement signal which can be converted to a torque signal. The impact tool can be controlled based on the value of the torque signal.

摘要： A windshield wiper drive apparatus includes a non-electrical contact position detector of the wiper inwipe position. A magnet is rotated by the wiper drive gear and moves past a magnetically responsive sensor mounted within the drive housing to detect the inwipe position of the wipers. In one aspect, a rotatable cam is mounted in the housing and carries the magnet. Interengaging members on the drive gear and the cam cause rotation of the cam in only the normal direction of rotation of the drive gear. Any back movement of the drive gear through interfering contact of the wiper blades with an obstruction separates the drive gear interengaging member from the cam preventing movement of the cam.
