    摘要: A television tuner employs a single down-conversion architecture to translate VHF/UHF TV signals to various standard IF frequencies. The television tuner includes a harmonic rejection and quadrature mixer and a quadrature mixer. The harmonic rejection and quadrature mixer mixes a first-band signal with a reference signal to output a first pair of in-phase and quadrature-phase signals with a harmonic-frequency component eliminated from the resulting signals. A quadrature mixer mixes a second-band signal with the reference signal to output a second pair of in-phase and quadrature-phase signals. A digital signal processing circuit coupled to both the harmonic rejection and quadrature mixer and the quadrature mixer for selectively processing either the first pair of in-phase and quadrature-phase signals or the second pair of in-phase and quadrature-phase signals to generate an output signal corresponding to a desired channel.

    摘要: It is determined whether a mobile user device is within transmission range of one or hidden networks. A list of known networks may be accessed, the list including broadcast and hidden networks. For the hidden networks, the network connection component may instruct a network interface to actively probe for the hidden networks. If the response is received for a communication corresponding to a particular network, then it may be considered that the mobile user interface is within transmission range of the hidden network. If auto-connection logic is activated, a preference order may be applied to select which of the detected broadcasts and/or hidden networks to connect. A user interface displays broadcast and hidden networks determined to be within transmission range of the mobile user device. The user device also displays hidden networks for which it has not yet been attempted to determine whether the hidden networks are in range.

    摘要: This invention is related to a process for isolating and purifying lycopene, and more particularly to a process for large-scaled isolation and purification of the biosynthesized lycopene from bacterial cells via simple steps with high purity and recovery. The steps in the process of the present invention comprises: isolating a biomass from a fermented broth; treating the isolated biomass with alcohol; extracting the lycopene from the alcohol treated biomass with an organic solvent; removing the solid phase from the biomass/solvent extracting mixture; filtering the liquid-phase extract; crystallizing the lycopene by concentrating the liquid-phase extract; separating the dark red lycopene crystals; re-suspending the separated dark red lycopene crystals with acetone; and separating and drying the washed lycopene crystals. A biosynthesized lycopene purified by the process is also provided.
